"The hostess was horribly rude. We were sitting at the front, as we arrived 10 minutes early, which was before they officially opened. We just sat down on the benches, but she came and told us to wait outside and shut the one set of doors we were by and left the other set open. This was after I tried to make a reservation for 8. They only take 6 on open table, I called to try to get 8 or two tables of 4 and she told me she couldn’t do that, but in a very non-helpful tone. Luckily, we love the cheese curds so a little rudeness by one hostess didn’t ruin our visit our waitress was kind and phenomenal at her job!"

"As we approached the restaurant, the beautiful lighting set a welcoming atmosphere. On a chilly winter evening, the cozy ambiance was truly inviting. The bartender offers an impressive menu featuring her own cocktail creations. The hosts were gracious, and our waiter was both helpful and friendly. The standout feature of this restaurant is undoubtedly the food. Our group of four adults shared three different appetizers, ordered four distinct entrees, and indulged in two desserts together. WOW! This culinary experience surpassed even the upscale Manhattan restaurants I've visited. Everyone was thrilled with their meal, and we all sampled each other's dishes because they were all absolutely scrumptious. I have no doubt that you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Enjoy!"

"They seated us in the back room, off the main dining room, next to the shelving unit that held extra plates, glasses, napkins...felt like we were in the storage room. Our food, crab eggs benedict and biscuits and gravy, were entirely unremarkable. Bland, no seasoning and completely blah. I was completely disappointed as this was my birthday brunch. My boyfriend and I had drinks each and our individual breakfasts, and the bill was just over Do you know how many eggs, biscuits and crab I can buy with I understand, and have no problem, paying for food and the experience. But the ambiance and food was expensive and beneath mediocre. Extremely disappointed and will not go back nor recommend to anyone."

"I've been to quincy about 4 times. as a local it is great to visit a consistently good restaurant. I love that they can sit inside or outside and both offer a great atmosphere. the menu is on the small side and often changes to what is in the season. all her cocktails, appetizers and entrees I tried were fresh and incredible tasting. the staff is super friendly and for the largest part they can enter directly and get a table without needing a reservation. the only reason for 4/5 stars is the waiting time to get cocktails and escapes. at my last two visits it took at least 30 minutes to get our cocktails and another 45 minutes to get our main enticements. at this time there was only one other table in the restaurant, so it was unclear why the waiting time, but I will say that the outside seats were full, which would have caused the delay. if they have time to save and get an outside table on a sunny day, then the delicious eating is definitely worth waiting. the food proportions are on the smaller side and slightly expensive, but the overall quality, taste and presentation is over and beyond."

"It's sad to say Roti has gone way downhill in the past two years. I used to eat here upwards of once a week but COVID forced me from being a downtown regular diner. I came back here for the first time in a while and the experience has changed dramatically. The chicken roti was burned a bit and overcooked/charred with burnt/bitter edges. The amazing purple pickled cabbage has been replaced with what might as well be a bag of cabbage from the grocery store. The seasoned cucumber/tomato salad garnish is gone. The hummus isn't the same. The employees are flat of affect and clearly don't want to be there. It's so sad to see one of my longtime favorites mail it in. I imagine I'll give Roti another chance at some point but this was really disappointing."

"The service at this restaurant continues to be disappointing. Even when you place an order in advance, it’s seldom ready on time, and there's always a chance it won’t be what you actually ordered. The staff frequently changes, and many of them seem visibly frustrated to be there and engage with customers. It's perplexing how management hires individuals who lack personality and exhibit such indifference towards their jobs. This is truly disappointing because Roti does offer good food, and the location is quite convenient. Management really needs to make some significant changes."

"Stopped by for a late night dinner while visiting Chicago. It was 30 minutes until closing, but staff happily made my bowl. All the ingredients were still available and not just the leftovers. Since I was the only one there, they immediately made my bowl and I was sitting down within 5 minutes.Ordered the Chicken Fattoush and all the ingredients still tasted fresh. They have several premade bowls with a rice or salad base or you can build your own. There's plenty of ingredients to customize it just the way you want. I wanted to try the Hot Chicken Pita, but opted for the Chicken Fattoush. Good food and service."

I would have rated it five stars, but the customer service left much to be desired. While I was trying to decide on my ingredients, the woman behind the counter was making faces and appeared impatient, which made me feel rushed. "I used to really enjoy coming here for a build-your-own pita, but they've changed the way they prepare them. Now, instead of mixing the ingredients before stuffing the pita, they keep everything separate. As a result, when you take a bite, you end up with a mouthful of hummus while the protein sits at the bottom. I get that this might save time, but I don’t want to pay $20 for something that isn’t properly mixed. It’s frustrating to have to tear apart the pita just to combine everything myself. It’s disappointing because the ingredients are fresh and everything usually tastes great."

"I've been there twice and this location has nailed it both times. Pita sandwich and rice plate were both fantastic. Exactly as I ordered it. Food was fresh and delicious, and the staff was friendly and funny. I forgot to ask for a certain sauce when ordering, but they happily gave me a to-go cup of the sauce. I do not live near here, but I will definitely visit again the next time I am in town!"
