"Wonderful experience at M’Tucci’s Italian. Exemplary service from Iggy truly made our meal great. She offered suggestions on menu options and guided us on portion sizes. She was attentive and took great care of us. The food was outstanding. The chicken Milanese burrata and sausage bean soup were standout dishes. The restaurant offered excellent value. The ambiance is a bit strange. It is supposed to be Venetian but looked more Mexican. A minor thing in an overall fabulous dining experience. Thanks Iggy for making our night."

"Check your final bill carefully! Our itemized bill came back around $125. They brought back a credit card receipt for us to sign that was $159. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he went off and explained that after he brought us our itemized bill, somehow two additional glasses of wine were added to our tab. Although we appreciate the explanation, I don 't think we really received an apology there was no surprise, remorse, or anything that suggested that the restaurant wanted to make amends for the mistake. (I had supposed that the restaurant would normally lock out the tab once they print the itemized bill and bring it to the table but that 's clearly NOT the case here. Otherwise, the restaurant is in a great spot, it 's beautifully decorated, and the service was fine (until they brought the check . I love when Italian pasta shines and is complimented by the sauce. But here, the pasta sauces overwhelmed the pasta. It was passable not disturbing in any way, but surely also not memorable. But really, I am still flumoxed by the bill mishap was it an honest mistake or a scam? I wish that I had confidence that it was just a mistake. But the way that the restaurant responded didn 't suggest that they cared."

"We had dinner with my son. The food and service were excellent as always. The only downer was the table next to us was a large party with a baby that was sort of moaninggrunting, halfcrying for the first fortyfive minutes we were there. I love children and babies but this was really disruptive for the rest of the people around them. It was a relief when they left"

"Let me start by stating that this review is by no means a reflection of the service or the quality of food we received. It is a reflection of this establishment not vetting their new hires more thoroughly, thus causing a very stressful atmosphere for my wife's birthday dinner. On Feb. 4th, 2024, my wife chose Trattoria Trullia as her go to for her birthday dinner, as she has many times in the past. During those visits the service and food was always top notch. However, this visit was different. See, my wife works at another restaurant over in Cardiff, which sits right on the beach, and she as well as some of her fellow co-workers were the victims of sexual harassment. A fellow co-worker had been under the influence of drugs and was grabbing his fellow female coworkers inappropriately. This person was immediately fired. Imagine my wife's distress when we arrived at Trattoria and he was now employed there. She sat through our entire meal, while not saying anything to our group for fear of ruining her the dinner vibe and causing a scene. This was HER birthday dinner. He had even come to our table and bussed a couple dishes in close proximity to her and then promptly, kept his distance. She only informed me of her distress after we arrived home. I am sure you can only imagine how absolutely infuriated I was upon learning of this. Having grown up in Leucadia and patronized this establishment many many times, its saddens me that I can no longer recommend this establishment to my friends or family until this new hire no longer works here. I would ask that this establishment vet its new hires better."

"The staff, Marco and Kim, were extremely attentive and accommodating. It was my husband and my first time dining here, but the rest of our group had been here before and highly recommended it—I'm so glad we listened to their suggestion. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food! For appetizers, we tried the Arancini and Bruschetta, both of which were delicious. My husband and I ordered the Rosario’s special pizza for our main course, while others opted for the meatball sandwich, ribeye sandwich, and a salad with grilled chicken. Everyone was pleased with their choices. Since one of us had a birthday coming up, they surprised him with a tiramisu, which was delightful—light and creamy. The rest of us chose affogato for dessert, which was equally enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful lunch experience! We will definitely return!"

"This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I 've ever had. We were seated, ordered appetizers, and were served within half an hour. After that, it was a disaster. We waited an hour for our main courses. The food was good (not great) and definitely NOT WORTH THE WAIT.The most outrageous part was that I went to the manager twice to ask about why our meals were taking so long. He had no response. I went back a third time, and was very upset that nothing was done to remedy the situation. He just looked at me.Evenutally, the owner came out and instead of apologizing she started to argue with me saying, this is not a fast food place and we have 200 people here. She was so unprofessional and rude. This is a service industry and instead of insulting me, she should have tried to make ammends and at least be apologetic.If they can 't handle 200 people, they are inefficient. The night with my family was ruined. Not only will I never go back, but I hope other people read this and decide to go elsewhere."

"We visited the restaurant for the first time on Valentine's Day night. We were seated at a small table next to the rest rooms, so that didn't do anything for the ambiance. For appetizers, we had the grilled oysters and the stuffed artichoke hears. Both were very good, though the oysters we quite small. Our main courses were the Chicken Beatrice, which was wonderful, and the grilled Salmon, which was overcooked a therefore dry. Had it not been for that, I would have rated the food very good. Being Valentine's Day, the restaurant was very crowded and services was quite slow. That's somewhat understandable. Our server was friendly and professional. The hosted gave each couple a rose for Valentine's Day but neglected us, I assume because we're a same sex couple. That was disappointing."

"Located in Bernardsville, this restaurant is a consistently reliable choice known for its excellent pasta dishes and welcoming atmosphere. While we used to frequent this spot often, we haven't been as much in recent years. The food, especially the pastas, remain top-notch, and the Romana salad was a standout with its light Caesar dressing. The service has always been exceptional, although prices have crept up over the years. Despite that, it's still worth a visit from time to time."

"The first time in this restorer. Nice atmosphere! Interior and exterior seats. Huge bar with special drinks and daily specialties. Food quality and taste was great. The portions were smaller than expected (we were there at lunch). The price was a little high. Waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable. Will be back in summer to taste dinner options and sit outside. came back to dinner and it was wonderful had the calf it was tender and very tasty. My husband had the Lake Bass it was excellent! Had my favorite wine that many places do not have, that was a big plus! Had the shrimp, octopus and Clam appetizer, the slightly baked it was good. I didn't try dessert because we were too full! Look forward to dinning again!"

"Let me begin by saying that we have dined here quite frequently. It is not one of my favorite places but my family loves it. Upon arriving, I was surprised to see an empty restaurant when we were told that the only reservations were for later that night. I was also surprised when the waitress told us that they were not serving tap water as it was not clean. She pushed hard to sell the bottled water at $7 per. When she served ice, I questioned her why she was serving it when it was the same tap water. She replied that their ice machine was full for several days and the water used for it was clean. WHAT!! We ordered and everything seemed fine until on my 2nd bite of food, I found a long hair in my dish. When I brought it to her attention, her first response was it is not mine. She did apologize, brought me over a menu and said she would have the kitchen make me a new dish. She never offered to take it off the bill, which I have found standard when this happens. The only reason I did not cause a scene is my family loves it there (I don’t know why) and will probably return. I will not."
