"The server told us the Grille at Park Place was known for their prime rib and crab cakes. So, we split a crab cake as an appetizer then tried the prime rib dinner with a loaded baked potato. It was one of the best prime ribs we've enjoyed, which is saying a lot for Kansas City. The service was excellent. It's a little pricey so we'll likely go back for a special occasion rather than just an evening meal."

"Authentic Italian cooking and presentation. Portions are very large. Food is flavorful, excellent blend of herbs and spices, not too salty or over spiced. Cooked perfectly, not over or under done. "I believe some other Black Angus locations may offer a superior experience, and I encourage you to do your research for the best outcome if you're looking for something truly worthwhile. That said, the attentive service and overall quality of the dishes here were very commendable and certainly worthy of a return visit. The prime rib was excellent, and the tips were also very good, as were the Au gratin potatoes, though they were a bit on the thick side. The green beans with bacon exceeded expectations, and the sautéed mushrooms with onions and tri tips, paired with a baked potato, were prepared and presented just as requested. Unfortunately, the dessert—peach cobbler—fell short of expectations. Regardless of being a chain, this particular location is one we keep returning to because they remain consistent and strive to please their customers. Looking forward to seeing you again, Angus! "I’m not sure how the reservation system works or how long reservations are held for but we were a few minutes late and given a table next to the kitchen when asked if we could wait for a different table we were told we didn’t have a reservation so we could be there or the bar. I mean if my reservation expires at least tell me so I know what to expect and why. I can understand you can only hold them for so long but please communicate more."

"If I could rate this place with negative eleven stars I would! I was completely disappointed and am considering placing a lawsuit against this hotel for the violations of the Americans with disabilities act (ADA). My friend that was accompanying meto my lunch reservation, Suffered an Epileptic seizure. Once we got upstairs to the floor of the rooftop garden restaurant, wepassed the restroom section and we did see a panel of receptionists and told them we had a reservation at noon at therestaurant. They told us not to worry. We entered the restroom and as I was trying to cool and comfort my friend, a Hispanicaverage-built, brown hair brown eyed early thirty 's woman used the restroom and starts to listen in to our conversation. When Imentioned it to my friend she should take a rinse from her neck down to feel better and look better for pictures she will betaking at our reservations she interjected and told us the showers are meant for hotel guests and spa clients. She also told uswe need to leave the restroom because we are taking too long and all these invisible guests will be interrupted by us. When Itold her we are dining with you guys she would not have any of it. She called security. Security then had me walk to thereservations desk to clarify and check my reservation. Once my reservation was in, I ensured my friend was well enough to walkover to the table. My friend was even given back the wrong change when she paid, plus she was charged for something she did notwant. Terrible service! Wild Horses could drag me to this restaurant or hotel Again!"

"Very convenient Hotel restaurant however they are severely understaffed. I arrived at 5 p.m. and had to flag down a waiter what you doing to order before happy hour was over at 5:30 p.m. I also ordered a dinner special that was burger and fries with a glass of wine that was the Monday night special. The happy hour finishes at 5:30 and the dinner starts at 5:30. My check was time in at exactly at 5:30 but the restaurant manager said he cannot not offer both promotions because they happy hour ends at 5:29. I pointed out that I was waiting for half an hour before I could order but he says that's their policy it's not ringing the Happy Hour end at dinner promotion at the same time although that is not what the menu says. Great live entertainment tonight and again great atmosphere but extremely poor customer service. Recommended for convenience but not for customer satisfaction."

"This has to be one of the worst dining experiences in recent memory. The restaurant had absolutely no atmosphere having only 4 occupied tables filled at 7pm on the Saturday before Father’s Day should have been the first sign that things were bad, but it was definitely confirmed thereafter. The server was friendly enough, but they hound you to order immediately; there’s no space given to sit down, talk and relax into your table. We asked for some time to look over menu, but he was back literally within less than two minutes and stood there until we ordered wine. It did not make for a relaxing experience unfortunately. Food was terrible. Bread was stale and you get only two tiny bits for the table. The burrata/prosciutto appetizer was awful for a start it wasn’t prosciutto, it was shredded sandwich ham scattered all over smeared cheese that tasted like ricotta, not burrata. Quite why they do this to burrata (even if it was) is beyond me. You can get a beautiful burrata appetizer at the tapas restaurant across the road at half the price. The Brussels sprouts were blackened to the point where they looked like enormous lumps of coal. We decided to cut our loses, paid check, and left. Something has gone wrong with this restaurant which is a shame because it could be great. The lack of atmosphere, expensive menu for no quality, oppressive and impatient service does not make for an enjoyable dining experience. There are plenty of other good choices in the area to enjoy. Disappointing all round. I was shocked because other reviews speak highly which is bizarre given the experience we had, but I would advise others to dine elsewhere in Mountain View."

"The Brussels sprouts were soaked in oil, and the carrots were drowning in butter. After refrigerating them, we noticed the butter had solidified around the carrots, and the Brussels sprouts were literally swimming in oil. We ended up throwing that out as well. I had looked forward to this meal, and I can’t believe a well-known restaurant could disappoint us on Thanksgiving. I also felt embarrassed, having praised this place to our guests to ease their disappointment about not having a home-cooked meal. Additionally, all tables received the same small amount of cranberry sauce and gravy, regardless of how many people were dining. We were a party of five, which made the tiny bowl of gravy insufficient. When we asked for more, we were charged $2, and to top it off, they didn’t include it with our leftovers. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"I could distinctly hear a heavy brass bell ringing whenever an order was ready. Although I couldn't see the bell, its tone conveyed a sense of weight and importance. Arriving with a healthy appetite, the combination of the beer and the pleasant ambiance only heightened my hunger. I realized I was in no rush for my meal; I had come to understand that a great dining experience requires patience. It was clear that the chef was taking his time to prepare my steak to perfection, and I was grateful for that. Outside of my mother’s cooking, this was truly the best steak I’ve ever had. "What a magnificent treat!! OMG. My mouth is still savoring the food! And the dessert! Wanted a spur of the moment, late night dessert. My guest and I talked about what was open as a lot of places close earlier. Didn't know there was a Cheese Factory just a few minutes (20 min) away. Soooo glad we decided to come here! At 10pm, we ordered appetizers. I had the quesadilla with chicken. I cannot say enough about the flavor. And the guacamole was a generous portion! I was in guacamole heaven. I can't have caffeinated drinks and ordered a decaf coffee. My goodness! How can I describe how good that decaf was! Usually when served at a restaurant, it lacks gusto...you know, like regular coffee should taste. But here! The taste was so real that I had to ask the server if it really was decaf and was assured that it was. Now, the dessert. That's really want my guest and I came for. Wow, wow, wow! Mango key lime pie was light, airy, not over the top sweet, and the combined flavor or mango and lime was the perfect blend. So so so delicious! Wonderful aromatic tasting coffee, savory appetizer, and a mouthwatering dessert. What a great spur of the moment night! Definitely will come again."

"This is my go to special occasion restaurant and it's a huge treat whenever I get to eat here. It's not a vegan restaurant, but their menu is much more plant focused than most. On our last visit we got the grilled artichoke appetizer which was unbelievably tender and is served with warm vegan butter for dipping, the paella and the king oyster scallops. All were excellent. My friend has never eaten vegan food before and was blown away. He said the king oyster scallops were one of the best meals he's ever had! We also got the warm chocolate cake for dessert, which was amazing. Bonus they have a fab mocktails menu including CBD drinks which were seriously delicious.
