"We went for Phoenix Restaurant Week and were seated within 15 minutes. The restaurant was busy but not overly crowded, and the service from the wait staff was excellent. The food was delicious all around, especially the Med Meatballs, Spiced Cauliflower, Pork Carnitas Bowl, Wagyu Beef Burger, and Creme Brulee. The only disappointment was the Bread Pudding, which was uninspiring and could use some improvement. Overall, it was a good value and a positive experience. We would definitely recommend it."

"I went to this restaurant for a group dinner. We started with Orange Juice, but it seemed to be made from juice powder. We waited for 45 minutes or more to receive our food. The taste of the food was average. The ambiance was nice with plenty of seating. The service was okay. Overall, it was a dine-in dinner experience with prices ranging from $20 to $30 per person."

"When we arrived and I gave my name, the hostess did not tell me that the rest of my party was already there and let us to a table away from them. Had they not been looking for us, we would have missed them. The food was good and plentiful and as usual, we brought home doggy bags. This is always a great outing and it is safe for my celiac daughter to eat without worry. This is one of my favourite restaurants and I always have a great meal. I love the caribbean chicken-that is often my goto meal. And the guacamole three ways...mwah. So delicious. Our server brought extra chips without us having to ask. All in all a great evening out"

"This visit was a complete disappointment. The service was exceptionally slow on what turned out to be a frustrating evening. To make matters worse, I found a small bug in my drink and had to wait around 30 minutes to bring it to the attention of the staff after our waitress disappeared. I ordered the mac and cheese with grilled chicken, but the mac and cheese was tasteless—absolutely bland. The chicken was good and flavorful, but that was the only redeeming part of the meal. My dining companion ordered a side of French fries, which were not only bland but tasted old as well. I cannot recommend this place, despite its lovely view of the manmade lake and decent music selection. It’s a large venue with so much potential, but ultimately, it fell short of what it could have been."

"Dal Rae is an Institution and has been around since 1951. This place is totally old school, and in the best way possible. It reminds me of old, classy Hollywood with the overstuffed booths, dim lighting, piano bar and ambience. There is tableside preparation for their signature Caesar Salad and the flambe desserts, that you rarely see anymore, such as Bananas Foster and Cherries Jubiless. Romantic restaurants are no longer plentiful, and this is perfect for a first date, anniversary, birthdays, or just good food. It isn't light on the wallet, but the food is quality. We had the Oysters Rockefeller, which were the best I ever had. We also had the Crab stuffed Artichoke Bottoms you can have Crab Stuffed Mushrooms or Artichoke Bottoms, but Mushrooms you can find on other menus. Never saw the Artichoke version. .The Crab Stuffed Artichoke Bottoms melt in your mouth and were unbelievably good. We shared the prepared at your tableside Caesar Salad there is enough for 4 and again, never had a better Caesar Salad, made with their own homemade dressing, prepared right in front of you. For entrees the melt in your mouth Chilean Sea Bass was beyound comparison and the Prime Rib was as good as any place I have ever had. I was celebrating my birthday, and did not have room for dessert, but the table ordered Bananas Foster, just for the experience, and it did not disappoint. This restaurant provides an experience vs. a dinner out. Additionally, the menu is very large, and I can imagine everything is excellent. This would be my number one recommendation of any restaurants in L.A. County that I have frequented, and there have been many. This just stands alone based on the variety of menu, quality and tasted of food, the tableside experience and ambience. Too top it all off, the service was very attentive."

"First off, we were seated at what I think was the bar area or near it. Whatever that was, it was very dim and hard to read the menu. There wasn't any direct light over our table. Apparently that section was understaffed, let alone, maybe it was the whole restaurant that was understaffed. Our server kept apologizing for the wait of our food, which took what felt longer than expected, yet our appetizer and beverages did come out promptly. When the food was finally served, the rice was dry, one dish was a little cold, but the biggest problem of all was that two of the dishes ordered wasn't supposed to be spicy, yet, they were. The server apologized for that and had the cooks remake them. One dish came back fixed and the other came back spicy, still. One member of our party had to leave early, so we wanted to box everything and go right when those remade dishes came back and asked if we could just box everything up, and our server told us to wait, that he was helping the bartender and they have 20 tables. We were doing a lot of waiting by that point, so one of us went to the bar to get boxes to wrap our food. Then the server noticed and apologized again and tried to help with the cleanup. At that point we just wanted to go. Personally, because of all what was going down, and the fact that my dish was one of the last to be served, I didn't get much time to enjoy my meal. Can't say if I'd ever return. Understandably, it's the holiday season, but knowing that, a restaurant should have enough staff to cover for business, otherwise don't accommodate for more people than servers can handle."

"I usually do not go for the specials at restaurants, but this time we decided to order two specials. One was the bronzino fish and the other was a pasta dish with veal and lamb. They were fantastic. We also had their special soup of the day which was very delicious. Marcello is very HandsOn, visiting every table. It was indeed a very special evening"

"C Casa Taqueira is located within the Oxbow market, and recently it moved alongside Hog Island Oysters to the rear part of the Oxbow market. It has now become a take-off (always had this option) and a sit-down restaurant. What makes this place incredible is all they do is gluten free, which is great for many, like no chances or cross-contamination. Breakfast Tacos are your savior on your trip in Napa. Trust me... come here after you get a coffee in ritual, take some breakfast tacos and prepare your body for the long day. Tacos are excellent — they are going hard on Cilantro, so ask for light cilantro or no one if you are like me. Bakery Doughnuts are all gluten-free. Advanced menu is great, and an improvement of the limited options before. New dining area has a different menu, but still good. Excellent options are all gluten-free. Come here."

"Went on a Friday evening, and opted to sit inside, but the noise level was very high so after a few minutes we moved to a table outside. The tables outside are not as nice e.g. no table cloth. Service was good, nothing to complain but also not outstanding. Food was nice, too"

"It’s great service and well cooked food. There was no sign that said Plough and the Stars outside. This mom and pop place is owned and managed by Mariette (no sure about the spelling). She brings fresh flowers in and checks in with the diners. They brought out two slices of Irish soda bread with plenty of raisins and a savory bread with tons of wheat berries. This is a true Irish Restaurant/pub. They have Haddock for fish and chips. Authentic vinegar to go with them chips. Chips were homemade, not frozen. We had the Guinness casserole. It was a delicious stew of carrots and beef. So tender you can fork it into pieces. The flavor is what I was craving of a well cooked dish. I wish I had more stew juices to eat with the potatoes. I was pleasantly surprised with the broccoli sautéed in garlic. So there was also a juicy grilled tomato wedge. We had a mozzarella tomato salad. Four slices of tomato topped with sliced of prosciutto and mozzarella. The other half of the dish were fresh mixed greens and dressed with a champagne vinaigrette."

"Very casual atmosphere. Most were in shorts or bathing suits with cover ups. Tables inside were rocky and didn’t match up to each other. Server was nice drinks strong. We had burrata as an app it was very good. We had Spazio chicken prosciutto was over cooked. Spaghetti was good though. Bread was hard and dry. They automatically add 18% gratuity and don’t tell you but when paying by card with the machine it asks you to choose your gratuity amount. (Even though 18% was already added). Not happy. All in all it was okay. Band was good though. Probably won’t be back"

"Food was absolutely incredible. Definitely recommend the pie flight, every one of them was delicious. Loved the ambiance here, too. Really felt like being in a pub in England. Our server, on the other hand, was pretty terrible. Took our drink food orders and that was it until we were ready for the check. Never got any kind of check-in or refills on our drinks. Had to wait forever to get our check when we were done. Looked like he was pretty busy, but I could see the pitcher of water sitting at the server station.....I feel like somebody could have helped us with that. Regardless of the poor service I'd 100% come back, just with hopes of a better service experience."

"Went out for Sunday brunch. Just so happened to be 46 degrees when the day prior was 67. I understand that the weather is changing and we are in fall. There were zero heaters outside and we were SOOO COLD! I am aware that in NYC there is 15% seating indoor however, we were not asked if we preferred inside. A reservation was made in advance through this app. When we got there, the staff was a bit rude but later warmed up. After we were seated, I got up to go to the bathroom. The inside staff seemed a bit annoyed that I wanted to enter but what’s a girl to do. I ordered steak and eggs. Both steak and eggs came out cold. Not sure if it was due to the weather BUT I didn’t send back cause I didn’t feel like waiting in the cold for it to be prepared again. My server was very nice but he too was freezing and I felt extra bad for him."

"Always liked this restaurant until tonight. Hope it was either a different chef or just an off night. The wine I always drink did not taste right, but they replaces. The special soup was gazpacho. I was leery when they brought it to me in a HUGE bowl. Was the worst I have ever had. Just like some veggies food processed into V8 juice. Exchanged for beet salad which was very good. Had the chicken; way overly salty and a very strange thick au jus . The best was the chocolate cake although we had to wait a long time to get decaf. Will try once more and hope it returns to the likable place we would eat at."

"Come here because I was waiting for my car to be fixed in the shopping center.. One of the cutest hidden gems in Los Feliz. I love that the environment is a cute family friendly atmosphere. My server, Alex was awesome. He was super attentive (without being over baring) and gave wonderful recommendations. I ordered the Santa Fe omelette, which was cooked to perfection. It was a decent serving size as well, enough for me to eat and not be overstuffed yet full. I love the fact that there, breakfast, lunch, and dinner has so much variety. And this place has reasonable prices especially for the amount of food you get. I will definitely be back to try more items from the menu, and some of their drinks as well. They also have a really cool seasonal menu for the holidays that I have to check out."

"Horrible service . Took over 30 min for someone to come to our table then took another 10 mins to take our drink orders which within its self took 15 minutes to receive. After the waitress took our food order after being sat for 45 minutes. We then waited another 50 minutes with empty water glasses and waiting for the appetizer. Finally I found another waitress and asked for the check to leave due to the horrible service provided. We have dined here before but recently the service has been declining and tonight was by far the worst. We noticed another table who had the same waitress had the same issue and she actually gave them a hard time when there food came out completely wrong."

"Great restaurant for a casual lunch, dinner or a drink. Nice alcohol selection and new American cuisine menu. Service is prompt and waiting staff is super nice. Ordered the smoked brisket which was very good, but still doesn't compete with traditional smoking spots. Cheesecake was nice, but not mind blowing. Good experience overall for the location. They have available power plugs on the table."

"The service was fast. We started with the pretzel bites, which were delicious. I had the Sunday roast, which was amazing. The beef was tender, mashed potatoes creamy, and the Yorkshire pudding tasty. However, the green beans tasted like they were from a can and not fresh. The strawberry mojito drink was delicious, but the coffee was just okay. I would have preferred an espresso or cappuccino, but unfortunately, they do not sell those. They offer a 10% discount with a CAA card."
