"Our experience at this restaurant was fantastic. Located across the street from the Birkenstock store, the ambiance immediately transports you to a different world from Williamsburg. The décor features dinner tables for two surrounding a central fountain with a mini boat carrying flowers floating on it. The waitress was friendly and efficient, and our food arrived quickly after ordering. I tried the Spicy Southern Dried Curry Beef Fried Rice, which was packed with flavor from the spiciness and various ingredients. The black noodles were also impressive, garnished with broccoli and greens. The portion sizes were generous, and overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be returning. Five stars without a doubt!"

"I have ordered from Yummy Thai for years and this was the absolute worst! I ordered a lunch special that was supposed to be delivered by 12:15pm. I went to see if it had arrived at 12:25 and it had not. So I called and was told the delivery driver had just left he will be there shortly. My location is only down the street. I waited patiently for another 20 minutes and called again. Once again I was told he would be there shortly. The delivery was at the corner. I met the delivery person outside and wondered if by now my food was cold. Well, in fact it was. My spring roll was sitting in the sauce of the entree and was soggy, my sticky rice was so sticky that I could not pry it apart with 2 forks. Everything else was cold. Terrible!!!!!!!!!!!It took an hour to receive an order that was only down the street. Never again."

"Decent little spot with a pretty nice menu. The staff is friendly, and helpful. You start off with free chips and salsa which is always a plus, only thing is I wish the chips were served warm. Me and my husband decided to try the steak nachos, they come with the beans, meat, and cheese already cooked on top the chip. Which I don't mind, but I think the dish would be better and more worthwhile if the ingredients came as a dip or individual for you to put on top chips served on the side, but still tasty. For our entrees we chose the enchiladas. I picked the shrimp, and my husband got the seafood. I really enjoyed the flavor of the shrimp and cheese sauce, I wasn't a fan of the amount of spinach they used and how it wasn't quite sauteed enough, and the cream cheese was rather room temp. Also if you are selling a dish with seafood it should have more seafood in it than veggies, which was also the case for my husband's dish. More mushrooms than seafood. All in all good flavor, just think they should cook to order and not use the warmer to get dishes hot. At 20 dollars a dish , take the time to do more cooking it will be well worth the customers experience. The margarita was excellent ??"

"DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! If I was able to give no star I would, this store have bad customer service, no patience, racist against their own race, I bought a lot of their desserts and the server/cashier got no patience and was giving me attitude. Alsoordered food to eat and sat down at the table, but they packed it. I went and told her that we didn?t order to go and she saidwe said ?to go? but I said no we didn?t, and she give me attitude and a big ?ughh? sigh, said a word in her language whileturning and walking away. Afterward, they came back with our food, but didn?t even bother to come and ask if we need anythingelse while we were there or give us any water. Usually every restaurant give water to their customers but they didn?t give usany. As a matter of facts, there were another group of people sitting right next to us, Americans, they came after us, they wereserved nicely, given water and were asked throughout their time there if they needed anything and was constantly served water.This restaurant need to educated/train their staffs better. I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TOA DIFFERENT RESTAURANT, YOU?LL GET BETTER FOOD, BETTER SERVICE, AND WON?T EXPERIENCE ANY DISCRIMINATION!!! "So, I have to say it's been 10 years since we ate here. And I read they've changed owners. And we just had to go there, right? Cuz it's famous, on South Park! We've got to check this place out while we're in Colorado. So when you go in, there was a turnstile (spelling? , when you get to the register, they have two choices. A plate with a flour tortilla and chicken, etc inside, some rice on the right, beans on the left. The other choice was rice on the left, beans on the right. So we paid and then you grab your cafeteria tray to get your food. By this time, I'm realizing why we had to pay first. I slid my tray across the metal bars and soon came to the serving area. There were about 20 trays under heat lamps. Each and every plate had beans that looked like they had been sitting there for a bit, it was starting to ooze over the side of the plate. The rice was actually stuck to the plate. Got my water, and after the Chimi Nazi stopped yelling at us to hurry up the line, we found a table and, little did we know, we were about to be entertained by the gorilla! Yes siree, the entertainment was nothing other than a diving gorilla. Some little skit played out, couldn't really hear great, but soon the gorilla dives into the water below! I was transfixed. I ate some of the tortilla and some rice, but the best was my water! Our waiter was pretty good, he brought us chips and salsa, and I think I had them make me a drink. Like I said, it looks as though they've been bought out, so hopefully it's somewhat better. But if you find out from a very good source they have not, don't waste your time or your money. "Hamamori is a longtime favorite but usually for omakase at the sushi bar. This time it was a seated lunch with a business associate. Absolutely delightful; the restaurant itself has a simple sophistication to it with white, blue design and amazing light from the floor-to-ceiling windows. My guest had the Nabeyaki Udon which came with five pieces of tempura (learned you dip it in the broth from friendly server) and dark and white meat chicken. Generous portion and a deal for $15. I ordered the Lunch Special of assorted sushi with house salad and miso soup. Fish was pristine and melted in your mouth. The tamago (Japanese omelet) piece was a treat. Had a nice crowd. Another plus about Hamamori is you can make a reservation for the sushi bar and indicate whose station you would like to sit in; we request James, the owner, who is a master with a following from LA and OC. His son, Tim, also creates wonderful sushi. Always run into people we know there. Truly a gem at South Coast Plaza!"

"The customer service at this restaurant is excellent. We ordered four items: the crispy garlic chicken, the chili fried rice with chicken, pad se-ew (wide rice noodle), and Thai tea. All of the dishes were delicious, but the crispy garlic chicken was a bit sweeter than we expected. If you prefer savory dishes over those with mild sweetness (like orange chicken), you may not enjoy the crispy garlic chicken. The Thai tea was good, however, we were unable to adjust the sweetness level to our preference."

"Wow! When I walked in, I was immediately impressed by how clean and beautiful the interior was. I received a warm welcome from the gentleman at the counter—who, unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of—who assisted me in selecting my meal. Right now, I'm thoroughly enjoying some truly AMAZING food! I ordered the lamb gyro platter with a hummus appetizer and rosewater iced tea, and they even surprised me with a complimentary piece of baklava! Every single bite has me saying, "Mmm!" "I ordered many times and this is the second time, tonight we got bad dishes from this restaurant again. I got bad food one time before so I stopped ordering there for a year or so. Then I ordered again and last two times were good. Today, Both the beef and chicken having no taste and overcooked unlike the last two times we ordered. Was it a different chefs today? Every thing tastes mediocre or bad today. I ordered tofu green curry, chicken green curry, beef pad Thai, beef salad, and chicken drunken noodles. I think 2 is most I can give for the food today compared to a 4-5 of last two times. Why there is such inconsistency? Even in the beef salad, beef has no taste and dry, how can you miss mixing a salad?"
