"However, instead of the salmon, I received the roasted chicken dinner. Both dishes are priced at over $30, but since the meal was complimentary, I decided to go ahead and eat the chicken. It was quite tasty, along with the mashed potatoes and creamed corn. Would I be willing to pay $30 or more for it? Probably not. But it's a resort, and I understand that prices tend to be higher.
The kids' meals included fries that were basically cold. If I had paid for them, I would have been quite frustrated, as the kids' meals aren't exactly inexpensive either. Overall, it is what it is at a resort like this. The quality of the food doesn't quite match the prices, but that's often the case. It was convenient to have a meal option right downstairs, but after this first night, we’ll likely be opting for Uber Eats or DoorDash in the future!"
