"First visit for lunch. We both had a corned beef reuben however asked for with coleslaw on mine vs sauerkraut. it’s called a Rachel with coleslaw if paired with fish) Our waitress said, “we have coleslaw so sure” Well, my first bite and I was hooked. Told my husband it was the best tasting corned beef i’ve ever had i’ve been known to frequent Jewish deli’s for a great corned beef. Even the grilled bread was delicious!! Our waitress Shelley I peeked at the bill to see her name) was a sweetheart. We’re definitely going to return. We don’t get out that much anymore so Thank you for a wonderful afternoon."

"Stanley's is an iconic sports bar in North Wilmington that has been in existence since 1935. It's a fun place to watch a game. We were most recently there for a double header Phillies World Series game, and an Eagles Game. The food is good pub food. The service is great. As far as ambience goes, it used to be a 5+, but after a remodel a few years ago nearly all the memorabilia was removed in favor of more TVs. Our party, who all grew up going to Stanleys all agree that it really lost something when that happened. Therefore it is at a 4. Still a fun place though."

"Came for our birthdays. The restaurant is right on the water which is great. Not sure if the restaurant has an identity crisis but it has white table clothes which look awesome... but your sitting on a plastic chair?Service was fine, they sang happy birthday and brought us a piece of cake. Very kind and thoughtful.The food... the food is where I draw the line. It was poor at best. My rabbit was dry and over the top salty while the chicken was tasteless and bland. I don’t meant to say these things in spite or to cause harm. Merely want others to know it’s not worth the for a table for two"

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

They offer a lot of different Tasty things. There Cream cheese and chives and there cream cheese and lox are the Best I've ever had. "A bit disappointed. We live over on East, but make the drive for this location because it's just better than the others. We ordered a chef salad, something we have gotten many times before with no ham. The salad wasn't very crisp like it usually is,didn't seem as fresh as normal and the portion size was a lot smaller than usual. They didn't put extra turkey which theyusually do when we ask for no ham. It was definitely a subpar salad for the price. Staff was super nice and we definitelyappreciate that. Not sure we can keep making the drive if the food is that kind of quality."

"when we arrived, the hostess had not our reservation through an open table and would not sit us because they “book”. when we offered her the confirmation email from the open table, she said that they do not really take online reservations because they do not work. to happiness there was a table in the bar that was open. the rest of the experience was very beautiful. the food was good and the intention is beautiful. if they want to eat here, they should ask for reservations."

"I recently visited this restaurant but unfortunately, I am unable to drink at the moment due to stomach issues. I decided to stop in for an appetizer out of boredom, but I ended up being charged more than expected for the second time in a few months. There was some confusion about whether the appetizers were included in the Sunday discount, as I was told by a barback and bartender. When I received my bill, I was surprised to see that a personal size cheese pizza cost me $15+ instead of the advertised $6. The drinks tasted more like plastic than alcohol, and the prices were too high considering the unclean floors and surfaces. I gave this restaurant three stars for finally getting new pool sticks and for the food being better than the drinks. I will not be returning until I hear that the restaurant has improved to at least a three and a half-star rating. (LOL)"
