"We were excited to try Boardwalk Cafe but never had the chance. Since we've dined at Rod Reel many times, I decided to make a reservation at Boardwalk Cafe for a change, especially since it offered outdoor seating for the fireworks. I booked a table on June 29th for July 3rd, hoping to enjoy the show. However, on the day of our reservation, I received a call informing me that they had to cancel our reservation due to a last-minute decision to host a concert. They offered us two options: either purchase concert tickets for $30 per person to keep our reservation or pay $10 to arrive 30 minutes before the fireworks without having dinner. Given that it was the day of the fireworks, this seemed quite inconsiderate. My family was really looking forward to the display, and I was frustrated at the thought of spending $120 just to keep our reservation, especially with the possibility of rain. Overall, it was a disappointing experience; unfortunately, I can't even comment on the food since we never got to try it."
