"Bottom line up front: Very good food and atmosphere. We found ourselves in the Northpark area on a Sunday and wanted to try a different spot for lunch/brunch. We did enjoy our meal at Waypoint Public house, it was pretty good. The food was interesting and tasty! I had the biscuits and gravy, and recommend it. The potatoes on the side were well seasoned and delicious! The sausage gravy was also very good. I like the biscuits underneath, but I do have some specific criticism of them. The biscuit had what looked like cheddar cheese and heavy seasoning incorporated. A little much in my opinion. The biscuit was very salty, as was the sausage gravy heaped on top. This is from someone who enjoys salty foods, but this was too much. Dial back the seasoning in the biscuit a little bit and this fish would be even better. I’m not sure what was in the dip that accompanied the Parmesan fries, but it was delicious! Highly recommend the Parmesan fries! I am not a beer printer, but they did have a full page of beers on tap, categorized by type of brew. The atmosphere at WP was lively and cheerful. They also have a little play area for children too, which is nice. It is geared towards children 3 and under, in my opinion. There are also TVs positioned around for sports viewing. A good meal in a nice atmosphere at a reasonable price!"
