"Food wasn’t bad, the waitress (with the leopard mask) was rude. Somehow there was a mixup with seating—we waited for a table for 15 minutes while people who arrived after us (same number of people in party) got seated first. Finally, a kind couple who noticed we were waiting after they got called said “uhhh, they were here first,” and the waitress (she was our waitress but it looked like she was covering for the host during a break) said “oh, he crossed their name off. it doesn’t matter. You’re both gonna get tables in 30 seconds” she sounded irritated about it, and no, he didn’t cross our name off, because he wasn’t even there. So not only did she seat many people before us, she shifted a blame to another employee, didn’t apologize for the mixup, and felt the need to make a snarky comment. I worked in retail for 10 years, so I try to be understanding of food service employees, but her attitude needs adjusted. So if she reads this and wonders why we didn’t tip: here’s why! I wanted to leave a note saying why, but my husband is a better person than me. Also of note: scrambled eggs were dry and tasted funny, my husband ordered over easy and got over hard eggs, and she didn’t bother to refill his drink until he asked....near the end of the meal. Do better."
