"I ordered 4 ham and cheese sandwiches with all the toppings, two with Swiss cheese and two with yellow American cheese. However, I received all 4 sandwiches with yellow American cheese and turkey instead. This has happened to me on more than 5 occasions. One of the workers, a woman, had a major attitude. They really need to improve their service. All of them should be fired."

"My birthday celebratory dinner with my Sweetheart, excellent service, delicious meals, beautiful presentation and ambiance. Downside, we felt very rushed by the busser wanting to take our dishes several times when we weren?t finished. We wanted to dine and enjoy each other, the beautiful setting, the food and the occasion, not eat in a hurry. Also, the bison carpaccio was next to air the portion size was soooo small and be aware, you pay for every little detail like being offered blue cheese stuffed green olives for our martinis and then being charged extra for them. Just a little deceptive. Often, the right hand doesn?t know what the left hand is doing regarding dinner/breakfast reservations."

"Well I didn't go here for many months because I had a terrible experience with her female manager who is completely rude and completely unprofessional but I always like the deli there so I decided to place an order on ciao now today. Got to the establishments when I was supposed to pick up my order and nobody knew anything about the order in fact the older woman at the register said you probably placed your order in Ronkonkoma this is Nesconset Out did you know you're in this concept. I told her yes I know exactly where I placed my order I proceeded to show the water to the young girl behind the counter and she knew nothing about it as well. Instead of making my order I had to wait for every customer that was inside the store to finish their order making my total wait time one hour I was in the store for about 30 minutes past the tome it was supposed to be ready and guess what it was still wrong!!! Shame on Handy Pantry....The only associate there that was kind and offered any help with this young girl with blue streaked hair she was very sweet and kind and the only person that actually knew what they were doing in the whole place!"

"update: handy pantry reached to correct and I appreciate that! to handy pantry: many thanks for their answer and offer to fix the problem. both orders were placed on grubhub, like most of our orders every week for handy pantry, in which regular without problems. grubhub hasn't relied so much, but I'm just glad that this has been acknowledged and hoped that no problems will get more cowardly. order details per your inquiry:6/3 order 97381906 0156175; pfefferoncini and hot sauce missing on both sandwiches6/5: order 76291908 7915997; via simple eggs were cooked over hard (usually always properly cooked) handy pantry makes in the regel amazing eiersandwiche. it hurts me to write this, but the last 2 orders were a disappointment, including false cooked eggs on one order, and lacked several items on 2 deli sandwiches on another order. even if they order by grub hub, they never seem to read the special instructions box. I really hope that handy pantry reads these reviews and makes adjustments accordingly, because they have good food and I would love to give them the business. I command them again and see if this is just a fuke or the new norm."

"My husband and I dined at Reserve on a Saturday night before going to the theater. I ordered the duck breast for my entree. Ten minutes later our server returned to say that they had a special party that evening and they were saving the duck for them. This left me feeling like I wasn 't special to them. I would have rather been told they were out of the dish than to have been told I wasn 't special enough to order this dish. Kinda put a sour note on the meal. Ended up ordering the fish special calamari sautéed with tomatoes, olives, capers and croutons. It was very good. Our appetizer was lamb meatballs that were good buy could have been more tender."

"Fairly small place, but even though they were short on help at that time, the lady working (the only one in front) was phenomenal. She handled everything without showing stress. Food was awesome. Onion Rings were like from home Chipolte Black Bean Burger was the best I have ever had. My husband's sandwich was excellent. We will definitely keep that on our radar whenever we are in the area. Vegetarian options: I try to do vegetarian as much as I can and I had a hard time until I say the Chipotle Black bean burger."

"I mean this is a kind of a cool place to visit but I couldn’t come here constantly. It’s a real small spot, the food portions are on the smaller size for a diner, the atmosphere was cool but it didn’t really hit home for me because they have alot of vintage old machines just laying around, it makes you feel as if your having breakfast in your grandparents cluttered garage or storage area. Some machines were renewed and it just creates this detachment from the vintage environment they’re trying to keep. The food was nothing special. It taste like food you can make at home. For a quick pit stop to get back on the road fast sure this could be the place but for myself I really couldn’t see myself going back here. Maybe if the breakfast was tastier… Side note it’s cash only so bring those bills."

"We had hoped to dine outside with a view of the ocean, but the strong wind forced us to eat indoors, which was disappointing. The restaurant had recently replaced their tables and chairs with plainer, less comfortable ones, which I did not care for. However, I do appreciate the dark wood decor and the bar. Although I have enjoyed better meals at this restaurant in the past, the short ribs I ordered were not as good as what I make at home. The mashed potatoes and carrots that came with the meal were delicious. The other three people in our group enjoyed their meals. Despite these flaws, I still have a fondness for this place, especially when dining outdoors."

"positiw, our waitress was really nice, eating was very good. con bar service was terrible. it took 15 minutes to get our cocktails, and the explanation was that they run low on the glasses. I've never heard that before. then we ordered a bottle of wine with our escapes. Surprisingly, the glasses came away immediately, but lasted 20 minutes to get the bottle. we were almost done when it finally came."

"I know I've already reviewed Harbor deli but I have to review it again! Let me start by saying a few days before my daughter got married in July 2022 we were informed that the entire day we're getting ready and taking photos getting ready there was no food included. Plenty of mimosas and coffee or juices but no food. I called Harbor deli and asked them to make me some platters last minute to pick up first thing in the morning on my daughters wedding day not only did they out do themselves but they threw in a fruit platter as a congratulations. Now today is Labor Day and just happens to be my birthday and I wake up in the morning and my teenage daughter slept out and my husband is at an early fire house event, and I'm hungry for breakfast and all I could think about is it's a holiday I'm gonna have to cook myself breakfast on my birthday. Nope Harbor deli is open!!! And they are making me my birthday breakfast and my mom who lives upstairs her favorite egg sandwich. Harbor deli is amazing! Always fresh delicious food, always reliable, mine and my families favorite deli!"

"Pros: Beautiful restaurant Top-notch service, very attentive servers Mise burger FTW! (Minus the onion ring) calamari was a safe appetizer choice. Rosemary biscuits were yummy. Cons: zucchini blossoms were very oily for my taste. Ribye entree was a mess. No seasoning what so ever on the steak, very chewy. Parsnips were very hard, i couldn’t cut it with my cutlery. Chocolate basque cheesecake dessert: MAJOR LETDOWN! I was looking forward to this dessert but it was quite dense. Basque cheesecake has been trending on social media as the best cheesecake for their luscious light and creamy filling. This was nothing like it. Overall, my friend and I spend over $170 for rather mediocre meal. Just come for the burger, omit the rest."

"We have been here before and always sat on the deck- most lovely. Tonight we were sat in the basement and it is a basement, with some minimal design. The cheese and artisan meats plate was OK, the olives had no flavor however. The Hummus plate was spot on and well done. Then the came the entrees , lets just say not a great evening, zero for five... the best selection was the tuna nachos, the other four did not get more than 1/4 consumed. the Curries just missed the mark, Carnitas was served cold and atop grease fried masa and the steak lettuce wraps were just not well presented nor enjoyed. We will go back based on other experiences and give this restaurant one more chance- but go when the weather is nice and sit out side. The service was solid as well, the greeting was polite and efficient at the front door."

"The older gentleman behind the counter didn’t seem to keep track of the orders he was taking, often forgetting about waiting customers in favor of chatting with those who had already received their food. They also didn’t know how to make iced coffee correctly, refilling the machine with steaming hot coffee instead. It’s disappointing to see that the days when Americans who grew up in delis worked at them are fading. The owners of this place seem uninterested in providing proper training for their staff, which sets a low standard. I spent over $11 on undercooked scrambled eggs and burnt bacon on a plain roll, along with a mediocre iced coffee. I really should have gone to the Burger King in the same strip mall instead, where for $10 I would have received much better food and coffee. I won’t be returning. Harry, the owner, labeled my comments as racist, but I’m actually an immigrant American woman of color. I wish he would prioritize hiring documented, fully-taxed immigrant Americans. Deliberately avoiding paying federal taxes and defrauding the state of essential worker compensation funds is a serious issue that affects vulnerable populations. Harry, you’re an exploitative, tax-evading business owner. The staff at Harbor Deli appeared to be disengaged and lacking in basic skills. I doubt you would subject wealthier, whiter clientele on Main Street to such poor service and subpar food. Train your staff and raise your standards."

"I came on a Sunday at around 1PM. The place was basically empty. Had I read the reviews beforehand, I might have steered clear. But I'm pleasantly surprised. "My family and I really love this place. The food is great and we'll priced. Never had an issue until today. Ordered through Uber eats and missed half of our order which never happens. Ordered a SEC that was labeled SEC to see there was no sausage. Also ordered 3 side orders of bacon (3pcs each) and we received 1 out of the 3. Really like this place but our it's hard to get out of the house taking care of elderly family members who are EXTREMELY picky eaters, so we use Uber quite a bit..Hopefully this was a one time thing. After contacting Uber, I hope I will get a refund what was missing."

"Service was awful. Took 15 minutes before anyone took drink order. People who arrived after us got and ate their food before ours was dlvd. I asked our hostess and she said they were just busy. Meanwhile we have a 1 year old and an 88 year old....read the room please. I have never not left a tip but tonight I did not leave one. Food was great but need to train your wait staff. When we do go back I will be sure not to sit in a certain wait staffs area."
