"The lettuce had just a slight bit of browning on it, but it was otherwise fresh, as were the tomatoes. The bread was good, though it wasn’t particularly memorable. I’m quite particular about my lettuce; I've never made a sandwich without cutting it to avoid the wrinkles, because sometimes they make it seem like I'm just eating straight lettuce and tomato.
I'm not trying to be overly critical—I was definitely happier with this sandwich than I would have been with one of my usual cheese sandwiches from the nursing home. However, for a total of $16, I expected something better. I could have almost ordered a whole pizza for that price—perhaps three Little Caesars pizzas! Nonetheless, I am grateful for the experience. I know it sounds like I don't have much good to say about it, but overall, it was decent. The bites where I could taste the bacon were quite enjoyable."
