"After calling 3 stores for veal shanks, I posted on FB and so many people said Italo on Forest was the BEST butcher. THEY WERE RIGHT! I made osso buco with the spectacular pieces Italo gave me. He showed me the meat, even offered tips to make the osso buco. He was incredibly nice and knowledgable. The store is awesome and convenient to central SI and worth the trip for south shore residents. I love Italy A&S!"

"The food is excellent, but to be honest, the guy who runs the restaurant gives off the impression that he doesn't really want customers to be there. "After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."
