"We decided to try Charlie's Place for a late lunch on Wednesday, and I was surprised by how busy it was for a midweek afternoon. The layout features a central bar with stools around about 80% of it, along with some additional tables. Most of the bar seats were occupied, contributing to the lively atmosphere, which feels very much like a local hangout. We chose to sit at the bar, and the bartender was friendly and promptly provided us with menus. She made me a delicious Bloody Mary, perfectly spicy, just the way I like it. For lunch, we ordered from the specials board and had turkey and ham melts with crinkle-cut fries, which were quite tasty. While it wasn't fancy, we left feeling satisfied, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, it seems like a great spot for a drink and a bite to eat at a good price. We'll definitely be back."
