"This is one of my favorite places to eat. During my last visit I wanted a Ruben sandwich but I didn't see it on the menu. My server pointed out an item in the sandwich section called City Lights. The meat was pastrami but I wanted corned beef. No problem at the Skylark! They will make what you want even if it's not on the menu. My Ruben was delicious served with tasty fries. That's why I keep returning. My server was great, fast service and helping me find what I wanted."

"We were invited to this restaurant for a work-related seminar and were uncertain about what to expect. After reviewing the menu, we didn't see much that aligned with our usual preferences, especially since my coworker is allergic to seafood. However, we decided to give it a try, and to our surprise, the food was delightful. The crispy asparagus spring rolls are a must-try! You really can’t go wrong with any of the drink options either. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, it’s definitely a place worth visiting."

"I hate to have to write this and it was during the holidays, yet it was a horrible evening. When we arrived, I heard the manager offering apologies and a round of drinks to a group of 8. Already, I had a bad feeling. We sat in a back room (why it was so quiet) and were immediately notified by the neighbor table that they had been waiting over 1 hour for dinner. I had to walk through the restaurant to locate a server to take a drink/food order. Drinks came 20 min. later; food arrived 50 min later and this was after I walked back through the restaurant to find the manager who told me that they were down a cook and that everyone was sick including himself. Dinner immediately became less appetizing. When dinner finally did arrive, it was completely inedible. The food was just plain gross. None of our foursome ate anything. We paid, left and ordered a pizza on our way home. On the way out, we made the suggestion to the hostess stand to at least set expectations for their diners that due to the holidays/low staffing, that the wait is much longer than usual."

"WAY overpriced as most places are these days but if it was an excellent meal I would not complain. $9.95 for a cup of Italian Wedding Soup that had no meatballs just little pieces of some kind of meat or pieces of meatball, spinach, maybe celery and broth, no little pasta that usually comes with it. We asked if we could order the dinner portion so we could get soup or salad without having to pay extra. The waitress (who was new and still learning) went to check and was told we could do that. So we ordered the dinner portion but were still charged and additional $12 for a small side Greek salad and the $9.95 for the cup of soup. After questioning the bill, they did ultimately remove the extra charges. Eggplant parm was just OK. kinda mushy. Appetizer of Mozzarella Fritti (recommended by waitress) for 2 people and $12.00 all you get are three wooden skewers with 3 4 tiny tiny balls of fried mozzarella."

"Went with some friends on our anniversary; requested a booth or table against a wall; we were seated in the walkway near Bar Congress (closed at the time). No server appeared or even walked by. After 25+ minutes, we asked the hostess for help. In moments our server arrived, pad in hand: What can I get you? No introduction, no welcome, never asked if we had questions, or how everything was. Main courses arrived 10 mins after apps, bad timing. She didn 't return or ask about drink seconds for another 15 mins. I 'd had dinner the week before at Congress, so I was quite disappointed in the indifferent, borderline hostile service awkward placement of the table. That said, the food was delicious esp. the salmon, chicken breast, and desserts."

"We were seated right on time, and our server arrived promptly. We ordered appetizers and drinks, which were served quickly. One person in our group ordered two additional appetizers as his main dish, but those were supposed to arrive after everyone else received their main courses. Unfortunately, his chicken wings were overcooked to the point of being inedible. On a positive note, the spinach salad and curry dishes were excellent. However, when the main courses were finally served, my husband's dish was delayed by another 20 minutes, leaving the rest of us already finished with our meals. Service was lacking; we had to seek someone out to refill our water and to inquire about my husband's main dish. As locals who usually enjoy the food here, we were disappointed by the service this time. Our friends, who were visiting for the first time, have decided not to return."

"Service was friendly and efficient. My husband's burger, fries, and beer were good although nothing special. My dinner salad was just lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumber with half a dozen grilled shrimp. It could have been so much more interesting and was way over-priced at $22. Also, I didn't appreciate having to pick out pieces of wilted lettuce and over-ripe tomatoes. The cast iron cookie with ice cream was, again, good but nothing special."

"This place is a hidden gem! Food was great and the service was awesome! My server was Adam and another server was helping. Didn't get her name but they were both good. We started with the Brussels sprouts and truffle fries which are very good and since there was no ranch we asked for the garlic aioli. The garlic aioli was to die for! Then we finished off with their special that night which was the Winter salad and fried chicken sandwich. We had such an amazing experience and will definitely come back!"

"In general, I prefer FoMu to any other ice cream shop I've tried on the West Coast. Even after leaving Boston, I'll be reminiscing about this place. The ice cream was so rich and creamy that I had to double-check to make sure it was completely vegan. The Rooibos Oat flavor was amazing, with its herbal tea base and house-made oat crumble adding the perfect amount of texture and sweetness. The Earl Grey Shortbread flavor was also delightful, especially with the addition of shortbread pieces. I appreciate the variety of offerings at FoMu, including cakes, cookie dough, frappes, gluten-free brownies, pints, different cookie flavors, ice cream sandwiches, and more. This place truly stands out with its diverse and delicious options."

"Went on New Year 's Eve. Table for 2 was reserved through app. Arrived and was presented with 2 tiny tables in strange spots. One table was a few inches removed from a large group. Another table appeared to be added in the walkway. Both were relatively close to the door/host stand. Strange locations. Please don 't add tables to accomodate if they are inconvenient uncomfortable spots. We would have reserved another time or somewhere else. Without us reacting to the strange table setup, the hostess who I am sure knew the tiny tables were in weird spots indicated that the bar area was first come/first serve for seating and may be better. The bar area is a tented outdoor area with heaters. The tables were normal size and in normal spots so we chose an open table. The issue is that the server was also working as the bartender. This worked well at first with regular attention at the table. After the first 30 minutes, a large group arrived at the bar. The bartender/server then stopped coming to the tables unless he found time. I kept walking to the bar to ask for drink, dessert menu, check, credit card slip. If there won 't be a server, let someone know. Also, please don 't book tables on OpenTable unless you have a normal table available. We or whoever booked later could have gone elsewhere or booked another time. The food was mediocre. The chocolate cake was very dry. The drink menu is excellent. The designer for the space should be commended. It is a beautiful space. As it is open longer and the kitchen and service improve, I hope it turns out to be a great spot. For now, I can 't recommend. To the owners, please be sure that your host staff explains seating better and please do not set tables in strange spots to accommodate guests who think they have a confirmed reservation with no issues."

"Was caught in a bad storm by the falls at 5pm with Traffic. I googled menu and saw they had an early bird menu for 19.95. Wednesday was Vacio with vegetables. Real cute Quant restaurant with a French Argentenian flair. This is an famiky led restaurant. Service was great. Big wine selection. Sald was good with bread. And Bacio with veggies was really good.
