"We frequently go to The Fig Tree. I always order the short rib, but this time, in my opinion, it wasn 't the same. They have a new chef who informed me they have been making it wrong for all these past years. Oh, my....not a good thing to say to a guest, and unprofessional towards the past chef. Parts were very crusty, to a burnt level. The manager, Francisco, brought me another one which was a little better. The manager made up for the comment after I told him about it. He was very apologetic and cared, as he knew we were frequent guests. Thank you to the manger. On the other hand, my husband had the steak special which was slightly overcooked, but was good. This experience will not keep me away."
