"The food was fantastic. Our friends spit a seafood paella which looked wonderful and they claimed was delicious. My wife and I had tapas. We shared the calamari, eggplant satin, and cuban pork wrap. All especially the eggplant were excellent. The dipping sauce for the bread was also really good. Olive oil with cilantro, basil, mint, green onions, garlic We set outside in the shade, the service was on top of things without being obtrusive. A very light buzz around us so we had way conversation among the four of us"

"The Arrowhead (Glendale) Black Angus is the best I went to different places in the 30 plus years. The service is always excellent and the filets are so tender. The Teriyaki sauce is also a good supplement on the page. We always enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the Arrowhead location from the servers and managers that are always great. You have a good thing to go for them so if you are looking for a good quality steak, excellent appetizers, and friendly welcome service this is the place. I recommend to the Wagon Wheel that we get it almost every time. The chocolate wing cake is also great."

"I believe some other Black Angus locations may offer a superior experience, and I encourage you to do your research for the best outcome if you're looking for something truly worthwhile. That said, the attentive service and overall quality of the dishes here were very commendable and certainly worthy of a return visit. The prime rib was excellent, and the tips were also very good, as were the Au gratin potatoes, though they were a bit on the thick side. The green beans with bacon exceeded expectations, and the sautéed mushrooms with onions and tri tips, paired with a baked potato, were prepared and presented just as requested. Unfortunately, the dessert—peach cobbler—fell short of expectations. Regardless of being a chain, this particular location is one we keep returning to because they remain consistent and strive to please their customers. Looking forward to seeing you again, Angus! "2020 really did a number on this place and I feel like it’s best years are behind. I used to adore the salmon fillet and hold it up with the very best that you can find in the valley. I got to give props to the management staff for making good when something goes wrong for the customer. They will make all sorts of allotments. The problem is I don’t think the entrées and the presentation match the level that the restaurant is aspiring to. A few times I had the bread and it was a little bit tough whereas many years ago it used to be very nicely done where it’s hard but not too much. Lately it’s been overdone and dry and not worth it. Skip the bread. I had the prime rib and that was decent well done but so much of the cut is from the fat that you lose about 2 or 3 ounces. It’s unconscionable though that the salad they sent me home with was put into a cardboard box which could leak through. I thought maybe they put some aluminum foil down in the box to keep the salad isolated but the regard for salads at this place has definitely fallen off from when I would go for lunch entrées with salad regularly to hoping you don’t get poisoning from it. Their sirloin is excellent though but doesn’t do anything that really justifies the surcharge of the location. I know recent times have hit the restaurant industry tough but the changes to the dining hall which make it feel less comfortable, the fact that there was no courtesy Wi-Fi for people waiting, and a lot of the disregard for the food despite the high asking price makes it clear that this is not a location to go regularly unless you have a really good discount on hand. With the sorry state of steakhouses in the Antelope Valley, it’s unfortunate that this location is slipping in their regard for presentation. They still know how to do steaks but everything else is slipping. I used to go here a lot more often and unfortunately my previous visit will likely be my last."

"Great experience! The sushi boat for 2 was very filling and delicious! The staff were very helpful and nice. Update 8/22/2020: We went to dinner with the family (7 adults, 2 kids, 2 toddlers to celebrate mine and my daughter’s birthday. I wanted to give a huge shout out to the wonderful people here! We were there from 5-6:30pm. The toddlers were a tad cranky and (as any parent knows, it can be a little embarrassing! we didn’t feel as though we were disrupting anything! It was a great feeling to have. As usual, the food was wonderful! I still recommend the boat for 2 and the French Kiss sushi platter is THE BEST for those that love a kick of spice! This was our fourth time coming (first with the toddlers and will always make our way from Cross Roads Tx to Flower Mound if we ever want a nice meal of sushi! Thank you again!"

"My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice early Valentines dinner. Last year we went to the San diego location and everything was perfect. We were hoping to recreate that experience but it didn't really go as planned. First off we made a reservation online. We do not live locally so we gave ourselves an hour to arrive. We checked in about 10 mins early. As we waited, guests were coming in without reservations and seated before us. We thought maybe because we requested a booth but realized these multiple parties were being seated in booths. Confused and upset we considered leaving. It made no sense that you would take care of people without reservations before someone with a reservation. Once we we got to our table which was not a booth , our waitress seemed flustered and all over the place. I waited 15 minutes for a drink refill and honestly she was nowhere to be found. The waiter taking care of the table behind us mentioned specials they were having and an app they offer with discounts. Our waitress never spoke of any of that. We downloaded the app and just listened in to everything that waiter was telling his tables. The food came out great except our fried zucchini. The zucchini pieces were sitting in a lot of grease on the plate. I would suggest downloading the app. We saved about $15 off our bill."

"Our father's day celebration on June 19, 2022, was filled with loving thoughts, joyful hours, and memorable moments. Raven served our delicious, nutritious lunch. She was friendly, professional, and sincere as she was attentive to our needs, cheerfulas she helped us, and knowledgeable regarding our orders. Garret, on the other hand, served our appetizers. His humorous stylemade us laugh with his jokes, resulting in a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. Black Angus in El Cajon is a fine diningplace because, in addition to its adequate parking spaces, the workers observed punctuality, as manifested by the timely arrivalof our appetizers, main courses, salads, and beverages. The prime rib and lobsters were cooked to perfection as we felt thetenderness and succulence of the meat while we were biting on them. The salads were fresh, prepared with the right amount ofvegetables, and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. The server mixed the beverages with the right amount of sweetness andacidity. The table was clear of unnecessary plates, cups, silverware, and other dining necessities. Undisturbed by noisy peopledining nearby and partly surrounded by high-upholstered benches, the place was quiet and provided an unexpected but neededprivacy. Raven and Garret performed their duties not obsequiously but accommodatingly, as indicated by their warm smile andcheerful demeanor. The confluence of a warm and cozy room, delicious food, refreshing beverages, needed privacy, and reasonableand outstanding service made our father's day celebration satisfying and worth repeating."

"Was honestly disappointed by this place. In the past often here and it was great. At first we went with reservations, but had to wait 15 minutes, angry, but okay, I suppose. The staff was not apologetic at all and was completely stone. We finally sat, but the staff forgot us. 15 minutes passed and we didn't even get water. We decided to go somewhere else, and we told them we'd go ahead because we don't have a service. The staff shredded and said without care. It was depressing to see a place I love to sink to this level of service."

"We had reservations. When we arrived we were offered a table in the bar or one by the kitchen. We chose the bar. Noisy!!! Mentioned to hostess we would like quieter table and offeredby kitchen. New server returned and apologized for lack of chiller. Her service was excellent. Good was good. Wine tour psasses through room we were in, so at times at bit noisy. "I had requested a booth ahead of time due to our service dog, but never received a confirmation. When we arrived, they tried to seat us at a regular table. After waiting several minutes, we had to ask for menus and water. It took quite a while for our orders to be taken, and the appetizer arrived just moments before our main dishes were served. My husband had to ask a server for a water refill, and the waiter never bothered to ask if I needed one, even though it was clear that I did. I ended up waiting at least 10 minutes before the waiter finally came back to our table. Overall, the waitstaff showed very little attention. We had to request that they clear away the plates that had been sitting on our table for over 20 minutes. The bill was also incorrectly calculated; the appetizer was supposed to be discounted, and there was an attitude when I asked for it to be corrected. While the food was decent, especially with the buy-one-get-one offer, the terrible service makes it hard for me to recommend this steakhouse to others."

"This place is ok. The tomatoes were pretty good. I got the big daddy rhea I asked for medium rare, it was over cooked to around medium. We also got the country fried steak, a burger and sirloin. It’s kinda over priced for the quality. But I guess you expect to pay that when there are no other local restaurants around. The service was good. Our waitress was very friendly. There’s a $3 charge for using a card which is kinda crazy cause who Carries cash anymore?? I was dissatisfied with the food though, cause $20 for a steak and it cooked wrong was a real disappointment. Parking: The lot was small and crowded"

"when visiting a family in the west, the grandfather of my man suggested to come here for our last night in the city. we've kept up and we've got a little early there. we could not sit early, but we were set in time. their apps were super delicious! the potato skins with acidic saw were delicious and spinat artichoke dip came very hot! it was a small amount when I expected, but was good! the table splits the combos that come with an app, a pornstar for each and 2 pages for each. What a deal! the sides were huge and the sidealat could have been a meal itself! we ordered our Steaks medium rarely, but were more medium. also the same type of steak had of three of us were different sizes and thick. dessert was taken, but we had to take it home because we were full! we enjoyed the dinner and the ambiente was great. would recommend!"
