"We also sampled their "famous" fried key lime pie, which turned out to be quite disappointing. As a fan of both key lime pie and fried foods, I expected something enjoyable, but instead, it was overpowered by the flavor of old, stale cooking oil and was served as a still-frozen slice of mediocre key lime pie. It was genuinely unappetizing.
The homemade hush puppies appetizer was bland and lacked any notable flavor, and while the macaroni and cheese was acceptable, the mashed potatoes were clearly instant and very dry. Overall, we did not enjoy any of the food we received, which leads us to not recommend this restaurant.
On a positive note, the atmosphere was vibrant and fun, and the location by the water was a nice touch. If you're primarily looking for drinks, this may still be a worthwhile option."
