"We have our second family reunion here at Ray's Cafe, in Seattle. I don't have the total headcount, but my guess would be around 40. Families from Oklahoma, Portland and Seattle. Let focus on the positives. the ambient and atmosphere for Seattle, third week of July was wonderful. I can't remember the food but I do remember the open bar! :P Thank you for your services!"

"I had a fantastic experience at Luce. The atmosphere was great, the customer service was excellent, and they had a wide variety of wines and a decent selection of beer. The cocktails I tried were delicious as well. My only issue was that the prices were a bit high. For example, I ordered a halibut special with rice and vegetables for almost $40, which seemed expensive considering I could buy multiple pounds of halibut for the same price. Despite this, I would still recommend Luce to anyone and have already done so multiple times in the past week."

"It was my husbands 50th Birthday and I put this on my reservation. We went with our two daughters. We were asked if we preferred a table or cozy booth. We chose the booth and the ambiance and comfort was nice. Someone came by to mention about our special occasion so I was glad they knew. Then we noticed others around us had excellent service but we had one waiter and were somehow being switched between two waiters. We ordered drinks and appetizers to start. My sangria which was supposed to be citris and berries had zero berries and tasted too citrus. When I mentioned it, I was without a drink for a very long time and had to ask for the waiter. Our appetizers were served without small plates so we had to eat from the bowl until we asked. We finished our appetizers but the girls were hungry and we were waiting. Others got served bread but we didn’t until we had to ask twice. When I finally got my drink, it had one berry but I was told due to the wait, it was on them. Our other waiter came by later to ask about my drink and I told him honestly it was just okay. He did bring me another drink and then we had a long wait til our meal. Finally the food came out and it was amazing! Perhaps our experience would be good going on. We ordered dessert and I thought they would put a candle in the dessert for my husband. They did not so I figured it was too fancy of a place for that... Except as we were paying the check, the other table in front of us, the waiter brought a beautiful huge piece of cake with a candle, and the table started singing Happy Birthday! How disappointing on such a special occasion. On the check, I noticed we weren’t charged for drinks or dessert but in the end, it wasn’t the experience we wanted. It just unfortunate that we got stuck with staff that may not have been the regular wait staff at our table while others right in front of us got excellent service."

"Food was excellent as always. We were a party of I was disappointed that our waiter (who complained about the number of tables he had to serve) was grouchy and not able to fulfill some of our requests. It was my birthday and this year there were no "happy birthdays" on the table; did you decide not to do that anymore? I asked for a champagne cocktail with extra bitters. It was exactly the same color as a friend's who did not want extra bitters. Then someone took it away and I saw that it sat beside a plastic dirty-dish container for a long while until I asked again. It came back just slightly pinker and I gave up on asking for more bitters. We had wanted the "Bites" and "Appetizers" to arrive with our drinks but they came much later. The dessert that another friend and I shared came with two plates (which was good) but no knife to cut it. I managed with a fork rather than bother the waiter any further. Clearly the waiter was harried but it made my birthday occasion significantly less delightful than I've come to expect from Rivoli. The noise level has never been an issue before but it was on Sunday night pm reservation) . None of this will stop me returning just saying it wasn't up to your usual standards. Lindy Sinclair"

"We dined here to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly fantastic! I enjoyed the scallops, which were cooked to perfection. My date tried the special—New Zealand lamb—and it was beautifully prepared, complemented by crispy polenta cakes. The cocktails were both fun and delicious; I ordered the peach and Choung, which came with a charming lavender garnish that added a playful touch to the name. Heather, our server, was wonderful—knowledgeable and patient as she explained the menu selections. We also savored a lovely bottle of wine. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée, which was delightful, but the goat cheese berry cheesecake was my absolute favorite! The ambiance was lovely, making it the perfect place to celebrate."

"The food was actually really good when we received it. Our reservations were for 12:30, it took 10 minutes (or more) to seat us, and after we ordered, we did not see any food until 1:30. We did not order anything unusual. The mitigating factor was the food was actually really good. But by the time we got the food, we had to rush our meal to get out of there by 2:00 to meet our afternoon appointments. We were told that they were very busy, but its a tiny restaurant. We had reservations being busy is no excuse for the food to take an hour after our reservation time."

"Our experience began at the bar where we were greeted by a friendly bartender were able to sit and enjoy a cocktail with our guests before dinner. Our, server was Peter -aka-Pietro and he added a great deal to our experience with his humor, his culinary knowledge, his ability to anticipate what those in our party may need or want. Best server ever! We were able to enjoy meals from the Restaurant Week menu so that was also wonderful! Love this place"

"The food was good. However, the service was awful. While we were the only 2 POCs in the dining room, we were treated very differently from the other diners. While we sat down at the same time as another couple and ordered first, the other couple received their water, glass of wine, soup and appetizer and ate most of it before we even received our sparkling water and Diet Coke. The assorted cheese platter we ordered looked like it had sat around for a few days before being served to us. The mushroom soup was good. The King Salmon and the sand dab fish entree were both very tasty. All the while we were there, the waiter was engaging in small talk and checking on the other tables. We received none of this. No drink refills, nothing. I asked to substitute the seasonal vegetables on my sand dab entree for Swiss chard. The waiter said of course. But about 20 minutes after we finished eating our appetizers, we were told that they were out of Swiss chard but we could get spinach instead. We declined and took the seasonal vegetables. We waited another 20 minutes (40 minutes total) after we had already finished our cheese plate and soup for the entrees to arrive. The couple we mentioned earlier was long gone. The dining room had two other tables eating. It was not crowded. Just all around lousy service. They also added a $5 credit card convenience fee and calculated the tip with this fee included (I did not realize until after). Total for 1 cup of soup, assorted cheese plate, 2 entrees, 1 Diet Coke and a bottle of Pellegrino with tip included was $158. I don’t mind paying high prices if the service is worth it but clearly it was not. Do better."

"Very odd dining experience. The hostess tried her very best to NOT seat my wife and myself tonight. After asking for a table for two we were asked if we had a reservation. Upon answering that we did not, she quickly and without giving us an option said we could sit at the bar if we were over 21 (we are in our mid 20’s but look ~5 years younger. To note, we were dressed semi-formal). We asked if there were any openings for tables and she responded with “We can add you to the waitlist, but it might take over an hour if we can even get you in” (it was 8pm). I learned quickly we would be the only name on the waitlist. After adding my name, she then said “oh someone just canceled their reservation and we now have a table for you”. Waiter had an odd manor towards us as well, but was at least respectful. I guess they don’t see young people here very often? Food was very good though and worth a return trip, I just might come with older/wealthier friends family next time."

"Bidwell is a lively spot for brunch, located in the midst of a bustling market. Despite the hubbub, there is convenient free parking nearby, with entrance and exit only on 6th Street NE. I thoroughly enjoyed my patty melt burger, made with top-notch ingredients, and sipped on iced tea from a charming mason jar mug. My companion's egg white omelet was accompanied by delicious hash brown potatoes. The service was friendly, though slightly green. The restaurant boasts a generously stocked bar along one wall. I look forward to returning to sample more of the menu, but snagging a parking spot may be tricky. Don't miss the chance to dine at Bidwell!"

"Our Anniversary dinner at La Costanera was amazing! Everything sounded so good, so we ordered a bunch of “small” plates to share and taste everything, we were too full and had to take a lot home, including dessert! Surprisingly, my favorite thing was the stuffed avocado! It was topped with a mildly spicy chicken/chicharrones and this yummy sauce, with microgreens. They should call this place “Sauce”, because the expertly thought out sauces and drizzles on every little detail make every item on the menu absolute perfection! We’ve been here a few times, twice this year for Valentine’s Day our Anniversary and once at the prior location for a birthday, and…we always leave thoroughly satisfied with the food, the service, and the ambience just lovely right on the water. I am also awestruck by whomever did the interior design on this new location…I say it every time we come but every little detail down to the driftwood-lined wall sconces and mix of patterns and colors with Peruvian influences makes it even more of an experience! Even the mocktails were fancy, plus the Peruvian Pisco specialty and tastings are not something you see everyday. If you have never been…you must go! We will be back very soon! There is also a cute Italian bakery next door (Meza Luna), local brew house, harbor activities near by, fish market and lots of activities. It is the place to be, with lots of easy parking."

"that was the worst experience I can keep in a restaurant in my memory! while the people were nice there, they were incompetent, unorganized and unmanaged. we sat on time at 8:00 a.m., but our drinks were delivered at 8:45 and were almost all wrong. it was not that they were busy, because only about 40% of the tables were occupied. the food had come to us another hour and of course it was mostly wrong, although quite delicious. they started calculating our register card by asking us what we had to drink and eat because they had no idea and that was before we even had our desserts (which were part of their price-resistant) they can only improve but I will not go back."

"The place was empty on Sunday for lunch. There were two people cooking , walking very relaxed around the kitchen area. One person serving. It took forever to get food. The server tried her hardest and came by to reassure us often, but evidently the linguini was the slow part. I could have made it in 1/3 the time. I wouldn 't go back."

"Pig’s Ear has always been our favorite place to have lunch in Hurricane and we visit often. Recently, we ate there for dinner twice and really enjoyed it. The noise level is pretty high due to concrete floors and high ceilings. The food and service are very good. I only have a couple negatives other than the noise level. We had a reservation at 5:45 for 4 adults and after we arrived, we asked to be seated in the bar area where there were a few available tables. We were told they were reserved and we were seated in the noisier area. At the end of our meal we were asked to leave so they could seat other guests at our table. This is a first and didn’t sit well with us. We spent well over $200 on our meals with drinks and dessert. We probably won’t be back for dinner any time soon."

"I went yesterday with family for lunch. The last time I was here was four years ago and this time was much better. It’s a nice atmosphere lots of natural light and there is an enclosed warmed patio outside. I had the halibut and chips 2-piece. It’s been the best halibut and chips I’ve had in a year or two. Nice beer batter, light fish and tartar sauce was perfect. Our sever Tilly was very nice and did a great job taking care of us. I would recommend visiting if you are in Gig Harbor."

"I have been to lunch here a couple of times and really liked the setting--on a golf course--and the food and service. This was the first time my husband and I tried dinner. We were interested because I saw something in the IJ about a Duo entertaining for free. The duo was fantastic. (I don't remember their names. They sang at just the right level and great songs. We were seated in the back of the restaurant and had no problem with the noise--even from the bar. I had the Range Mai Tai, which was quite good. Then I had 3 oysters at $1 each--raw, Rockefeller, BBQ--and we shared a ragout and a chocolate mousse for dessert. I would have the mai tai and oysters again, probably not the ragout or mousse, but there were many other choices at fair prices."

"I was looking forward to our evening at this restaurant, as we were celebrating a big promotion. The hostess, Catlynn, was very polite and seated us at a nice window table. However, our server Gina lacked knowledge about the menu and did not provide good recommendations. The drinks were enjoyable, but the wine selection was limited. The crab cakes were delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly, although it could have been thicker. The sides were tasty, especially the roasted Brussels sprouts and mac 'n' cheese. My lobster pasta was too salty and the lobster portion was small. The cheesecake was good but the berry compote could have been sweeter. The ambiance was modern but a bit loud. Overall, the restaurant fell short of expectations for a high-end steakhouse. Our bill came to $260 including tip, and next time we will try Fleming's or Ruth's Chris instead."
