"This has long been one of my favorite spots for lunch or dinner, but my recent experience was quite disappointing. The appetizers, soups, and desserts have always been enjoyable, and I appreciate having a vegetarian option for their burgers. The Gipp Burger used to be my favorite. However, during my last visit, the burger was overcooked to the point of being inedible. It had charred spots, and it was so dry that it could snap in half. Veggie burgers should be cooked differently than meat burgers, and the kitchen needs to be aware of this. There was barely any sauce, and it had only a few tiny pieces of fried onion on top—no lettuce or any other toppings at all. Essentially, it was just a charred patty on a bun, far from the zesty, flavorful meal I remember. I would have sent it back, but unfortunately, the server didn't come by to check on my meal. I left feeling very disappointed."
