"Wow...I had high hopes for this place but it was a total fail especially for Mother's Day dinner. Maybe it was a oneoff because of the lack of staff and a busy holiday, yet there's no excuse for lacking the most basic elements of service.We were advised that they were only serving items off the Mother's Day prefixed menu. I was fine on the high price point of per person up until when the food came out AND after when they told the party next to us that they could definitely order off the regular menu. Food: Appetizers, nothing special; Ravioli, too al dente; hangar steak their star item, extremely chewy; salmon, tasty but lacking on the portion size; sides, bare; desserts: pana cotta, delicious; bannana pudding bread, just ok. Overall, the prefixed menu was not worth the per person.The service is another story. We barely saw our server and we thought it was because they were busy inside the restaurant. Come to find out, the inside of the restaurant was completely empty! out of the entree's were served until we had to flag down our server and ask for the entree. He acted surprised even though he was the one that brought out our food. Even that was difficult in doing as he was too busy entertaining a couple and their dog! he petted the dog, picked it up, and hugged it before serving other ppl's dishes btwThat was the last time we saw our actual server. His colleaguenot wearing a mask or face shield ended up serving our desserts to us. And at one point, he had to reach over my gf to serve me my dessert while lets say, not distant. Needless to say I had to get up myself and walk inside the restaurant to get our check. I thought we were the only party that had a subpar experience, and was totally accepting and understanding in the fact that restaurants are struggling right now and even moreso in hiring staff to support reopening.
