"I can say a lot about The Rusty Face. Suffice to say I WILL BE BACK...OFTEN! There are a ton of great places to eat in Williamsburg. I eat at many of them often and have my favorites. The Rusty Face is now at the TOP OF THR LOST! Everything about the experience was great. I knew it was a newer restaurant so wasn’t expecting the perfection I experienced. Admittedly, I ordered almost every appetizer on the menu, and good thing because (well I’m enjoying leftovers as I write) I have lots dor which to evaluate. The food was perfectly seasoned. The char on the octopus was balanced well with acid. If I have to pick a favorite dish it is the octopus. The zucchini chips were crisp and NOT greasy. The calamari was not chewy and perfectly battered and fried. I also had the mushroom...the char on the mushrooms made for the perfect accompaniment or entree. I ordered a well-balanced cocktail that really made for a wonderful dining experience. The icing on the cake was the hospitality, I won’t say service because it was hospitality. We felt as though we were dining at a friends house who wanted to ensure we were comfortable, pleased and had everything we needed/wanted. I can’t believe I didn’t get our waiter’s name (yeah, I’m that person chatting up with folks).The bigger cherry, the host bought us an aperitif. It was the perfect punctuation to a fantastic dinner!! The Rusty Face gets everything right!"
