"I 've been here a few times and it has become clear that these experiences aren 't outliers. It 's the great experiences that others have had that are the outliers. Food is only ok, though I do recommend the Caramelized Brussels Sprouts on the shareable menu. And the service is really spotty further explanation below. Their signature cocktails are fine but I haven 't had one that had any real wow factor. I was with a group of 5 during this last visit and one of our guests ordered from the sushi menu. We were there for 2 hours and we never got his food, so we canceled his order and he ended up sharing pizza that was now cold that another guest in our party had leftover. If you ordered from the bistro kitchen, our food came out fast enough, but the salads were extremely basic. The roasted beet salad is just spinach with a few beets on top, and some goat cheese I had forgotten how plain it was from when I ordered it a couple years back. We were also initially seated at a low, lounge type table with a couch and a couple other lounging chairs, that maybe would 've been fine for a group looking to get drinks only. It was not appropriate for a group looking to get dinner. And when we asked to be seated at a high top, drama ensued. Our server was scrambling to see if another server was willing to give up one of their tables. It was clear our request was extremely inconvenient, which stressed us out. It was also clear that the hostess wasn 't willing to help and that it was on the server to figure this out. I 've worked in restaurants and this is best handled by hosts, not servers as they still have other tables to wait on. I also saw another guest walk up to the hostess and let her know they were ready to order bc they had been waiting awhile for their server to take their order. The hostess told them to just wait for the server, and the guest was clearly frustrated. Yikes! Not cool. I understand that hosts aren 't servers but if they aren 't at least willing to take an order to help an obviously scrambling wait staff, go home. Clearly this place had no sense of TEAM (aka toxic work environment) and weren 't willing to make adjustments to help each other, or make their patrons ' experiences better. If I have to stay at this hotel again, I will plan on having food delivered."
