"We waited over half an hour for our fried green beans and another half hour for our two salads, despite the restaurant not being busy at all. The fried green beans were decent, and my wife really enjoyed her chicken salad. On the other hand, I loved the flavor of my shrimp, but they were so salty that I ended up leaving four of them on my plate. I only finished the others because we were very hungry. This was our first visit as we like to try different places. As a cook who went to culinary school in Pittsburgh, I find it perplexing why some restaurants over-salt their dishes. Customers can easily add more salt if they want it, as it's readily available on the table. Unfortunately, it seems many places add salt before even tasting their food."

"We had dinner here at 6:00 on the first Friday of Lent. Party of six and not very many people at all in the restaurant. We did not get a waiter to our table for thirty minutes. Then four of us ordered water as our drink only two of us received the water until the meal showed up at the table. The appetizers came out the same time as the meal so obviously not ideal and all sorts of things cold and messed up. One person never received the baked potato she ordered with her steak. Two of the three steaks extremely tough. Never had this type of issues before at this restaurant. I assume it was a bad night. Manager came over and got a drink for four of the six of us early on when realized what all was going on. Not necessary but appreciate it. However, when waitress finally came back to table never refreshed anyone’s empty glasses and asked how the food was. We very clearly stated look we are not looking for anything and we realize getting the food prepared isn’t your job. But, you need to let the kitchen know this was really not up to par. Just so whoever’s supposed to be keeping an eye on it will know. Our waitress began crying and it was crazy as we did not direct anything at her personally and we did not want anything for free and we tipped we just where disappointed across the board with food and service then to top it off we left feeling horrible for giving an honest opinion. So subpar food and service we paid and tipped to leave feeling bad on top of it. The waitress said she’d been doing this for twenty-five years. I’m certain we are not the first people she has ever heard be disappointed in something. We did not yell, curse or ask for anything to be paid for by anyone other than us. There was no reason for us to have food and service like that and leave feeling bad. We probably will not be visiting this restaurant again anytime soon."

"After church one Sunday, we decided to stop by this restaurant. It was packed, which raised our expectations that the food must be good. There were four of us, and I have to say, it was quite disappointing when all four of us ordered spaghetti, and none of us enjoyed it. I couldn't even finish mine. I usually make my own sauce, and my mom's recipe is excellent, so I was really hoping for a great sauce or something authentic like the Italians make. It's a shame it turned out to be so subpar. We were surprised by how crowded it was, considering that if you drive through Boiling Springs, you could easily miss it if you're not paying attention. Perhaps people choose to eat here because they don't want to travel somewhere else for better food. Unfortunately, we won't be returning—it just wasn't worth the trip. I'm not sure if anything else on the menu is good, but when we asked our waiter, who was new, he didn't have any information on whether there had been other complaints about the sauce. None of us were fans!"

"I always have a great experience at this restaurant. It’s clean, well-lit, and handicap accessible. The menu features classic diner fare with satisfying portion sizes. I can see why it's so popular; the place was bustling with patrons. Our waitress welcomed us with a warm smile and was very polite as she guided us to our seats. She was especially patient while taking the order of my senior dining companion, who had specific meal requests that were handled perfectly. We chose a table in the larger area near the back entrance, which made it convenient for accessibility and service. Overall, it was a satisfying experience, and I look forward to visiting again soon."

"My bf and I made reservations here on a Sunday before we went to a Falcons game. When we arrived, the hostess seemed as if she was reluctant ti seat us per our reservation as she did not give us a wait time like she did everyone coming through the door. It had a nice vibe and I liked the decor. After about 15 mins of waiting, I had to ask again about when we would be seated and then we were seated right away. The server, name u known), although a bit friendly, was not very good at her job. She didn’t really give us any time to look over our menu before asking us what we wanted. We didn’t receive a drink menu so I had to ask what they offered and she didn’t make any suggestions. About 15 mins later, my bf received the coffee that he ordered, but my mimosa was not given to me. I figured it was taking longer since they seemed a bit busy. After another 5 mins of my server not checking on me, I asked her if it was almost ready and I could tell she had completely forgotten about me. I ordered the pancake platter with potatoes and my bf ordered the fish n grits. By time I received my drink, our food came right after. My bf got everything that came with his, but I was kissing my potatoes. I stopped my server and asked bout my potatoes and she said she would go get them. 15 mins later, she never returned. When she finally did, I stopped her to ask about them, and there was a look on her face that clearly said she forgot, but instead she told me that she stopped by the kitchen and asked but couldn’t get any. I don’t see how everyone else in the restaurant managed to get all their food, but she was denied my potatoes. Any who, the pancakes were good, the chicken sausage was cold and I have no idea what the potatoes tasted like. My bf, on the other hand, enjoyed his entire meal."

"This restaurant is consistently great! The food quality is high, the atmosphere is unique, and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. This is another safe place for my wife with food allergies and celiac disease to enjoy great-tasting and healthy food. The same people who own Divvy (also Amazing!! also own the library. That means excellent-tasting food worth every penny you pay to eat here. I love the Library for business meetings or gathering with friends. They also have a great outdoor space to enjoy when the weather is nicer. I look forward to Summer meals there soon."

"If I'm looking for spezialpizze, I'm going here. they have regular pizzas, but how can they not choose from one of the MANY specialties that the owner carefully prepares for them. there is a really nice, spacious eating and the parking lot is very safe and comfortable. that was delicious. "It was a positive experience overall. The cheese sauce dip was fantastic. I ordered the fajita for one, and it was more than enough to feed both my guest and me. We did have to wait a bit for refills and service, but I think that was due to our seating location. Would I return? Definitely, but I might try to go earlier in the day to experience a different atmosphere or choose a better seating option. "I experienced the worst service ever! When I called back to address my issue, I explained that the cheese on my pizza wasn't even melted. They insisted that the pizza had been sitting for 20 minutes, but I was outside the entire time and even had hotel staff who could confirm this. I've never had such poor quality pizza before, not even from frozen options. When I called to explain my concern, the staff on the phone cursed at me and insisted I was wrong. I would never recommend this place! To make matters worse, I later discovered that the dough wasn't even fully cooked. If I could give this place -20 stars, I would, and that would be generous! "A short drive up the interstate took Fat Man Reviews to Fava's Restaurant in Georgetown, KY. Fava's Restaurant is a family owned restaurant that has been around since 1910. They serve southern plates and desserts. We started with the Frickles. The pickles were hamburger chip cut, they were lightly breaded and fried to an amazing crunch. They were served with homemade ranch, which was some of the best that I have ever had. I also tried the Chili. It was made with hamburger, beans, onions, tomatoes and juice. It was a thick and hearty dish but was not spicy at all. Furthermore, it was a good stick to your rib's chili, I really enjoyed it. My fiancé tried the Soup 1/2 Sandwich, which came as a whole sandwich. She had the special of the day, Vegetable Beef and upgraded to a grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was on white(wheat, Texas toast, Rye and a hoagie is an option), came with cheddar and Swiss. It was grilled to perfection and the cheese was melted and gooey. The soup was made with vegetables out of a can and hamburger, not a roast as I have typically seen. Again this was a hearty, thick dish that had been cooked all day and the flavors had married together. It reminded me more of a burgoo than a soup, but it was delicious. I tried the Award Winning Catfish, with homemade tartar sauce, hush puppies and fries. The fries were cooked to a golden crunchiness, the cornmeal hush puppies were as well. The catfish was served in nuggets, cornmeal breaded and fried to perfection. The fish was moist and flaky, and the creamy slightly sweet tartar sauce was great as well. I can see how it is award-winning. Fava's Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner plates. As well as soups, sandwiches, burgers and salads. They also serve beer and wine The place is small, so there may be a wait, and the wait staff is excellent. Fava's Restaurant is Fat Man Approved and Recommend."
