"we were greeted at the door by someone who told us that they did not have a Booster seat for our 3yr old, after I had already called and asked, and it was told them. the person stood there and stared at me and said I'm sorry, and didn't offer to sit on us. Finally, I had to ask if they put us or what. once we set ourselves, that was in order. our waffles were burned, but it was okay. it was just not a good start to Mother's Day."

"We have gone many times to the Sunday Brunch have not been disappointed yet. We like the offerings and the opportunity to try a new omelet each week. Our waitress was new but you would think she was there for years. She came at the right times to check up on us, not too much, not too little. The dinners are great also. The ownership and managers are very conscientious and personable. Our new goto spot"

"Our group of four shared two appetizers: Mushroom toast and Seafood Hushpuppies. Then four entrees: two regular size plates of Seafood Gnocchi, one Salmon entree and one Shrimp with Grits entree. All were delicious and the portions were much more than we'd anticipated. We were pleasantly surprised because we've found that restaurants in most hotels are overpriced and portions are small. This was not the case here. Our dinner was good value and very delicious. The cocktails were reasonably priced and not watered-down premium liquor which some bars serve."

"I frequently order from here. My wife enjoyed her bolognese, but the eggplant roll I tried had a rancid taste, which I suspected was due to the ricotta. I called to report the issue, and they were very polite and promptly sent me a slice of eggplant. I was pleased with that, as it was delicious, just as I had hoped. I'm willing to consider the initial problem a one-time occurrence, and their willingness to replace it definitely improved my overall experience."

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better chefs with more than one cooking style who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. Burnt cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"Happened upon Grill 28 by accident and could not have been more happy. We are golfers so loved the atmosphere, the food was actually like that of an upscale restaurant. Korean BBQ chicken tenders and the feta dip were absolutely amazing. Roger was terrific and so nice. I’ve already told several people about this gem and will be back again!"

"We loved the breakfast menu here, including the great selection of adult beverages! Our waitress was on point, our food arrived quickly and everything was as ordered. We also took home a pack of pumpkin waffles! Great food and excellent service. We had a beautiful view of the bridge even though it was a gloomy day. The manager even stopped by to see how we were doing. We would definitely return when we get back to Cincinnati."

"I had the veg plate: Fried parmesean corn, tofu and a side salad. The corn was really delicious. The tofu was perfectly prepared, and the side salad was very fresh. I like this place because you can go with a meat-eater and have lots of veg selections everybody's happy. On a different occasion, I had the sweet potato pancake (one of their specialities). Ooooh, it was SO good. Good place. I like the one on Hendersonville Road, as opposed to the smaller one in downtown; it's much roomier and easier to get in."

"First visit here with some friends who live in the area. We had a good meal with terrific service. In my opinion some of the dishes were inconsistent in their preparation or presentation. The shrimp cocktail featured a generous amount of shrimp arranged on a too large plate without any other artistic touch. A smaller plate and an eye for presentation would have made this much more interesting. The Mussels appetizer was terrific in every respect except that the plate for the empty shells was too small and we needed the waitress to service the table before we could finish the dish. I ordered a pizza and found it to be ordinary especially when a big deal was made of the wood fired oven. It didn't pop in any respect and frankly it had a slightly underdone quality to it. My fellow diners really enjoyed their entrees. Again, service was fantastic. I'd try this spot again for sure but I had the sense that it's not quite firing on all cylinders."

"We have ordered from this restaurant multiple times and each time the quality of the pizza has varied (sometimes undercooked and cold). During our last order, they initially told us it would take 40-50 minutes for delivery, but after waiting for one and a half hours I called to inquire about the delay. The pizza arrived while I was on the phone with them, and when I notified them that it was cold, they abruptly hung up on me. I called back and another person apologized and mentioned that they would speak to the owner about a partial refund, but we never received that call."

"When I ordered, the waitress mentioned that they had a gluten-free pasta option too, but then returned to apologize, stating that they actually had no gluten-free pasta available, other than steak, crab cakes, and another veal dish. I was extremely disappointed, as we were not looking to spend a significant amount of money, but they had a special on a surf and turf, which I decided to order. The other couple we were with ordered tomato bisque listed on the menu as "Tomato and Crab Bisque." However, the crab was mixed into the tomato bisque, which I found misleading; it should have simply stated “TOMATO CRAB BISQUE.” They had to return the soup since one of them had a crab allergy. Thankfully, the manager comped the bill after acknowledging the misleading menu description. In the end, we spent over $125 on a meal that didn’t fully satisfy us, and we certainly didn’t drive 45 minutes just to have a steak we could have easily had at Texas Roadhouse. The only highlights of the meal were the company and the mashed potatoes. So if you find yourself in the area, I’d recommend getting a side of mashed potatoes to go. However, we will likely choose to eat at the Green Turtle down the street next time."

"Just yesterday was my father's birthday, and I requested a reservation in the back room. Tommy, the owner, made it happen, and my family adored their dining experience. They even said they would definitely come back for another meal! The establishment itself is excellent, and I’ve had the chance to try the food – it’s incredible! I want to thank Tommy for cultivating such a positive atmosphere and Jake, the manager, for creating a hardworking environment that I truly appreciate. I've never experienced anything like it in any other workplace."

One bartender and one server isn't fair to the employees or the patrons. They should have closed for the night. We are in an era where that move is not unheard of and is more respectable than straining what help you do have Our family likes Tin Lizzy's and we'll be back."

"The food is excellent and never disappoints. I'll keep returning for the food, thank you! Server was stiff and awkward but that was specific to this man and may not be your experience. Checkout was a bit of a fiasco as we paid the wrong bill, never noticed because of the awkward hand-held devices they use to pay at the table, had to have the first transaction refunded, and had to pay again once the server realized the issue. In the course of it all I also missed out on $13+ of rewards that were associated with my account. Great food but that experience made this a disappointing visit. I'm sure we'll still return though."

"Do not eat hereThis is going a be a none and done. My wife and I have a vacation home in Travelers Rest and when we come to visit our children and grandchildren we eat out most of the time. We visit 4-6 tines a year. We arrived at Southern Culture 20 minutes before they open on Sunday morning to avoid having to wait for a table. We were the first in line so first to be seated. The hostess chose to sit us at the table closest to the door. I asked for a different table. The hostess said let me check. She proceeded to seat the remaining patrons in line which at that point was 25 to 30 more patrons. She did not let us know what was happening she did not return to us. She simply ignored us and proceeded to seat everyone else in line. I approached the hostess stand and she informed me I would have to sit at the table I was assigned until everyone in line was seated. I asked for the manager and without apology or grace she said I could sit wherever I wanted. The lack of manners or basic hospitality was shocking. Do not eat here. Awful just awful."

"this restaurant should really not be on this app. for the average person, it seems really very nice and my man and children have enjoyed their eating. when I asked my server why dinge like French pommes and sweet kartoffelfries had the symbols for vegetarian instead of vegan after having checked with the kitchen, she informed me that it is because they also cook meat in the fritends. which means they are not vegetarian either. I have tried not to ask any side with my tofu nuggets, which was obviously no option, and my server suggested several things that were produced when I asked with animal products (coleslaw- mayo, yams or green wars butter, etc). there was no offer to adapt or accommodate. I got makkaroni and bee as a side for my daughter and was still disappointed, my plate with everything stacked in a round, so naturally cheese sauce was all about everything. as I said, it's really not a bad place and for someone who eats meat, I'm sure it's fantastic, but it's not remote vegan-friendly."

"This diner is fantastic and has a classic vibe. If you're looking for delicious food and excellent service, this is the place to be. The waitresses are true professionals. They’ve installed plastic dividers in the booths, which adds an extra layer of protection during the COVID era, especially since the space is small. Please note that it's cash only, but there is an ATM available. While there is a parking fee, I found street parking nearby to be easy and affordable."
