"My wife and I are regulars at this restaurant, to the point where the bartender knows my wife's favorite cocktail and the waitstaff warmly greets us. We always request a booth by the kitchen when we make a reservation, and our request is usually accommodated. However, on our visit last Friday night with two other guests, we were informed that the manager, who is fairly new, was saving the booth for his friends. We were seated at a table that was not as comfortable or quiet as a booth. About 15 minutes later, the manager's friends arrived and were seated at the booth, despite there being just two of them. The manager spent 10-15 minutes sitting with them, neglecting his regular customers. This experience left me feeling angry and my meal was essentially ruined."
