"Good pizza; on par if not slightly better than Turoni’s. I was intrigued due to the “Live Jazz” mural on the side of the building, but apparently that’s a misnomer as they weren’t playing any jazz music and the live performances are from a bygone era; they did have a nice playlist though! At any rate, the vibe was interesting…Turoni’s is definitely more warm and charming…Turoni’s is more like a restaurant that has a bar and Deerhead is more like a bar that has a restaurant, if that makes sense. Apparently Deerhead used to be quite the place, with an expansive menu as well as live performances multiple days throughout the week.Also, they do that silly “cash discount” thing, which I am not a fan of, but whatever lol.At any rate, I would eat their pizza again for sure!"
