"Beautiful oceanside restaurant at Pickering Wharf. We made a lunch reservation and every dish was delicious and very fresh. Highly recommend the beet stack salad with pistachio pesto. Also the server could not have been nicer. She was super helpful and attentive, but also let us enjoy a leisurely meal without feeling rushed. 10/10 we look forward to visiting again!"

"It took 3 times to learn that their priority is NOT customer service. 1. veg item w/ chicken came w/ tofu, said thought it was w/ chicken, was scolded mistake on my order (my fault) at table AND when I left restaurant at hostess stand; 2). billed for wrong order, tried to correct w/ them directly multiple times, finally called Visa and got correct; 3). most recently, they have fast food robots with blinking lights every 30 60 second going through whole restaurant by table when said annoying, they were okay with us leaving vs. not having rolling robots going by our table. Customer service #1 priority? Don't think so. Never going again, 3 x a bomb."

"A friend recommended it, and I am so glad they did! This was a treat for my daughter 's birthday, and good sushi is one food my adult children can agree on. My son was leary because this was our first time here, but was quickly impressed by the atmosphere and service. This was soon overtaken by the quality of the sushi itself. The fish was fresh, and presentation on point! The entire experience was enhanced with the occasional complemtary, sample selections served, the complimentary birthday dessert, and balloon blossom presented to my daughter just for mentioning we were celebrating! Kid-friendliness: My children have grown up as sushi lovers. I started them with less challenging, veggie, and cooked options early. There were several families with children of ALL ages while we were there enjoying themselves. There are lots of menu options to choose from and balloon swoards for the asking!"

"It gets harder and harder to find in New York places that offer good quality sushi for reasonable place, which is why this place is such a gem. I 'm always happy with their sushi and special rolls. The place also has nice, cosy vibe, making it good for either lunch, friends hangout or a date (they have sets for 2 people, that they arrange in some fancy constructions , which is a nice touch). They have lots of options in their lunch menu as well. Service is attentive and friendly. Overall I really recommend this place."

"I ordered takeout for dinner here, and I was really impressed when I went inside to pick up my order. The atmosphere was wonderful, with everyone smiling and emanating warmth and delight. It felt like I had stepped into a place where everyone had known me for years. The aroma of the delicious food was mouthwatering. Every part of our meal was authentic and prepared to perfection. "We have eaten at Roka Scottsdale for seven years. Without exception, last night’s dinner was the best ever. The sushi was exceptional. The craft cocktails were exceptional. The grilled lamb chops were exceptional. The crispy eggplant and Yukon Gold mashed potatoes were exceptional. The service was exceptional. "Do keep in mind that the restaurant is run by the owner, who also serves as the sushi chef, and his wife, who manages the front desk. As a result, the service can be a bit quirky and on the slower side since it's primarily just the owner at the sushi counter. The cooked dishes from the kitchen are just as delicious as the sushi. Dining here truly feels like being in Japan. Their miso soup is the best I've had, and I absolutely loved the black cod and yellowtail kama. I can't recommend this place enough!"

"Had a great experience making reservation on Open Table for Oceania Restaurant in Clayton, MO and being seated where we preferred. Our waiter, Pierre, was charming and very helpful explaining items on the menu. Pierre and other staff checked on us regularly and served food in timely fashion. Food was delish, beautifully plated and ample servings. We were allowed to extend our conversation beyond eating with no interference. Had a very enjoyable experience all around. Will return."

"The food was good, and the service was decent. I would rate it 4 out of 5 because I wasn't blown away, but I wasn't let down either. I do think they could improve on cleanliness when packing takeout, but I'm keeping things positive. I would consider returning, although only for lunch. I ordered from the regular menu, and they didn't even mention the lunch specials to me. I felt a bit shortchanged and ended up spending more than necessary. But I guess that's what happens during your first visit to a new place."

"I've dined here a while back and was expecting the same food quality but it was disappointing. The prices have gone up but the quality down. I used to actually drive all the way here just to eat here but never again after this experience.BUYER BEWARE: The greatest surprise was when my bill came that there was a 3.5% Transaction Fee!!! Never before have I paid such a fee here and nowhere was it stated that such a fee was charged. Credit Card fees are a business expense like rent, electricity, license fees etc.... I brought it up to the restaurant and they just said sorry we just started doing it. Well, sorry I will NEVER return here and instead go elsewhere where I'm not nickeled and dimed I used to always get their Indonesian Fried Rice but this time it was practically about 1.5 onions sliced up in that dish along with lots of baby corn slices. The chicken pieces were chunky and unflavored as was the rice. And it was FREEZING inside the restaurant! But I remember that they've always been cold as if the heater has never worked.The Trout looked great when it came sizzling but that's where the fun ended once I took a bite into it. It was just drenched in a sweet sauce (prob Hoisin) but completely bland other than that. And lotsa fish bones that weren't removed. Definitely not safe for a child! Once again more than 1/2 the veggies were onion slices. It's as though the chef is over compensating to fill up their dish with onions instead.The side of noodles were just tossed in a sweet sauce with a bit of soy sauce. We ended up taking 2 bites and dumped the rest.Service: 5 Food: 1 Ambience: 1 Overall: 1.5 NEVER retuning here again.(Everytime I have ever been there I always tell them it's freezing and this time it was even worse)"

"This is definitely my favorite sushi restaurant! We enjoy going there because of the extensive menu. As strange as it may sound, the Pink Lady roll is simply delicious, as is the 007 roll. It's a good idea to order two or three different rolls to create a nice variety on the plate. One thing I do wish they offered is Teppanyaki; I would love to see more grilled vegetable options (without noodles). Although the noodles and vegetables are tasty together. Overall, it's a fantastic restaurant with excellent service! Always a pleasure to visit!"

"This place was great! They served one of the best Miso soups I've ever had. I did the chef's Nigiri tasing and Lynn had a custom roll. Both were excellent. They were short staffed the night we were there, but Benjamin our waiter did an excellent job of taking care of us and the other customers. We definitely plan to return for another meal on one of our concert nights at Davis Symphony Hall. Highly recommend, but don't tell too many friends as I still want to be able to make a reservation. ;o)"

"PLEASE WALK AWAY!! As a certified Chef! I really think you should look else where. This place looks nice at first, but once once you start to realize all the minor details you?ll soon regret coming here. I cam here to just have a regular sushi roll and oncei got it. My sushi all of a sudden had a side of chicken?!? 2) Maintenance! it was not clean in the kitchen what soever and you can clearly see it through the glass windows. 3) Unhygienic!!! on of the employees had no skull cap to keep hishair in and he had big jewelry dangling which is a dangerous hazard.
