"The menu featured options for Restaurant Week, Game Day specials, and the regular pub fare with some elevated selections. We both decided to try the chili. For my main course, I ordered Looney's fish and chips, while my friend opted for a side salad. The chili was tasty and came with an enormous portion of tortilla chips, which was a bit excessive—both of us left about half of them uneaten. That felt a bit wasteful.
My friend's side salad was much larger than expected; it was a BIG salad, not the small plate of greens typically served as a side. He couldn’t finish it. My fish and chips were delicious and seemed homemade rather than being a frozen Sysco item. They were well-battered and featured rockfish. The plate was generous with fries, which was great, but there was an excessive amount of tartar sauce.
I enjoyed my Yuengling on tap, although my friend's Cabernet was quite unpleasant. Overall, it was a good, if not great experience. I would consider returning when I'm in the area again."
