"I visited for breakfast on a Sunday around 9 AM, and there were only a few tables occupied. Our waitress, an amazing elderly Greek woman, was quite entertaining. The food came out incredibly fast, and everything tasted quite good. The country potatoes and sausage were fantastic, but the chocolate milk was not up to par. Overall, it's definitely a great spot to stop by if you're passing through Albany."

"with 1200 reviews and a 4.5 rating, I'm not sure what I could really add to the conversation, but I still feel compelled to get on something deserved lob too heap. this is one of its kind spot for a car lover not to miss! fresh ground meat, hand-ground pommes and house made tweeper rings, it is a trifecta of taste. this is not an almost food burger and it is not fast food prices, but for the quality, size and taste it is worth every single penny! my only concern is that the dii hung room is a tad run and neglected. this was not enough to my five star rating (and I don't give much of them). Come here, get your burger!"

"I ordered delivery and had no communication, even though I included instructions for the delivery person. As a result, they ended up delivering my food to the wrong place. As for the food, it wasn’t great either. The sweet potato fries were not crispy; they were very soft, as if they had been boiled instead of fried. By the time I received my burger, the bun was soaked with grease and couldn’t hold the beef properly. The only redeeming part of the meal was the half lemonade, half iced tea, which was good."

"I really enjoy a good diner, and it’s rare to find one that truly gets it right, but Bob’s does! The service is excellent and friendly. The breakfast is delicious and a fantastic value. I highly recommend it! It's located in a plaza in a corner spot, so it's worth the effort to find it!"

"The diner underwent new management about a year ago and has improved significantly! The new menu offers delicious diner food at affordable prices, with $10 cocktails available. The service is excellent and the portions are generous, making it a great spot for a casual meal. The curly fries are a standout dish. Most entrees are priced at under $15."

"When I entered the restaurant, no one offered any assistance. I didn’t receive a greeting, and the person at the front was busy taking phone orders. I ended up leaving due to the poor service."

"I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, especially when you're feeling hungry and in a good mood. I would give it a perfect 10/10 and suggest that anyone visiting the area make sure to stop by Co Diner."

"I can't believe that I've never eaten here. Alfies has been around for years but this is the first time I've come here. It came recommended by Family and boy I couldn't agree with them more. We were a party of nine which included four kids. They don't take reservations and we were a bit concerned about our wait on a Saturday night. Surprisingly it didn't take that long to be seated. Pretty quickly they came and asked for drink orders. Then gave us a few minutes to read the menu. I heard they have really good hamburgers so decided to order a basic cheeseburger. It was delicious! The beef was definitely fresh ground and freshly cooked. The hamburger was so big I had to cut it in half for another day. I also got a side salad which was extremely fresh and crisp, unlike so many other salads that are warm and wilted. I got the salad because I wanted to try the homemade garlic dressing. Delish!! We also had an order of fried mushrooms for our appetizer. Pretty good. Most of us had burgers but two folks did get the barbecue ribs. The ribs looked good. I might try them next time. Service wasn't bad for a Saturday evening. Our server did get a few things wrong but she corrected them immediately. Again mistakes happen but I truly think it's great when people step up. This is an old time place. Nothing super fancy. But really good food. A great family casual place. Love it! I will return."

"What a treat eating at the Big Tomato! Perfect diner/luncheonette vibe and food to match. You can sit at the counter and watch them make your food or sit back at the many tables. The staff is super friendly and you feel like you’re watching a sitcom as you eat and enjoy the banter between the cooks, servers, and register person. Lastly, the prices were reasonable and I got a few coffee refills! I’d love to go back if I’m ever in town again."

"I've visited this place several times, mainly for breakfast, and today was my first time trying lunch. The service is always friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and, most importantly, the food is excellent. The prices are just right for the quality you get. It's a fantastic value and an enjoyable experience overall. It has a charming, old-school neighborhood vibe that we absolutely love!"

"We were able to seat ourselves for lunch, chose a booth and were very comfortable. Really liked the atmosphere and how old the building is. Our drinks were brought quickly and our server was very attentive and friendly, everyone working was busy but very friendly and helpful. I ordered a chicken salad, it was a very generous portion and the chicken was seasoned very well, made for a flavorful meal. My husband ordered a the club sandwich and really enjoyed it."

"I came here on a whim based on the suggestion of a local in this town. I drove from New York city to Pennsylvania to buy a rare bass amp and I had forgotten to eat breakfast and lunch. I had a voracious appetite and when I was finished my belly was really full. I opted for the number seven which was two scrambled eggs with corn beef and hash and home fries as well as wheat toast and a coffee. I topped it off with three pancakes and maple syrup. This is a more of a family type of diner. The place was extremely clean , even the bathrooms."

"Tom's customer service isn't very helpful or friendly. I've dined there before and often, but today was unusual. I had an insignificant request (to have my coffee served in a to-go cup) which had been honored without hesitation in the past. Today, for some reason, it seemed like a huge request and was met by several employees with frowns. Then I was given an inflated cost for this item. I requested to speak with a manager who was very sassy with her replies. All in all, it's not worth the trouble. Everything is just okay, and if you don't go on the right day, apparently you won't have a good meal. Skip it."
