"I recently dined at this restaurant for breakfast and had a fantastic experience. The price per person is between $10 and $20, making it an affordable option. "I’ve ordered here about 15 times in the last 2-3 months and most of the time it’s good. I do not recommend going there an hour and half before they close. I ordered at 9 they close at 10 and I bought what I thought would be a new pizza(XL- $15) andwhat I got was a cold pre sliced pizza that was stitched together. I’m not dumb and know what a fresh pizza out the oven lookslike me this look like Frankensteins sister. They took the slices from the display that would normally be 2 for 5 andmakeshifted a whole pizza that clearly was not a full pizza. Cheeese was not stuck together, gaps between the slices, slices aredifferent sizes, no grease, cold sauce and I ordered the pizza at 9 walked in 920 and got home 925 and pizza was stone cold. Iate the disgusting pizza just because I don’t like wasting food especially since I paid 15 for it. I do question if I want togo back."

The menu offers a fantastic variety of pizzas, from classic Margherita to unique gourmet options, making it hard to choose just one. As I pondered my decision, the over-the-counter worker approached with a friendly demeanor, ready to assist. She was incredibly helpful, patiently explaining the different options and even offering personal recommendations. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and her enthusiasm for the food was infectious. It felt like talking to a friend who genuinely wanted me to have the best dining experience. I finally decided on the Dante 's Special, a mouth-watering combination of pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. While waiting for my pizza, the worker checked in to make sure I was comfortable, offering a drink and some garlic knots to enjoy. Her sweet and attentive nature made me feel valued as a customer. When the pizza arrived, it was everything I had hoped for and more. "Let me start off by saying..There isn't many better options to have Italian food in NY and that includes NYC..The service, the food the atmosphere is impeccable. The chicken scarpariello is the best i have ever had. The chicken is always cooked to perfection, sliced thin potatoes, fresh sausage, mushroom onion along with a rich sauce that is out of this WORLD. I also get a side of pasta with garlic and oil as well. Their grandma slice is GREAT. the sauce, the crust and the cheese are all cooked flawlessly. Angelo the owner is such a welcoming and pleasant guy. Our server Wilda was amazing and attentive. I can't wait to go back!"

"I'll start by saying my daughter and I were sat at a table where there was a horrendous smell of urine. When we left, they at least had the smarts to leave Table 22 vacant.I wanted a table for 2 people. I gave my name and cell number to get a text. I was told it would be a 25 minute wait, but it was more like 5 minutes. When I was providing my information, I saw an elderly male walking out with a walker and his pants were wet around his waist. I felt sorry for him on the inside. I never thought in a million years I would be seated where he probably just sat. I'm not saying that happened, but there was a horrific smell at Table 22. I didn't notice it immediately as I had my mask on. After placing my food order and getting my drink, I took my mask off. Oh my goodness, that urine smell hit me like a ton of bricks. My server was very apologetic. One of the managers not so much. I was told other people in the restaurant told them of the smell. So why in the world would you seat someone there. I was told they saw no liquid. I don't care; it could have dried up depending on how long the guests sat at the table. I did complete a form on the incident. Since it was 7 PM and my daughter was really hungry, we sat at another table to eat our food. My meal was overcooked probably because it sat long waiting. Another manager offered a replacement but I was ready to go. They did take off about 20% from the bill. I basically gave that to the server as he was really nice. Since the food wasn't that great, I more than likely won't go back ever again. I already told a friend about my experience. She will never go."

"Most importantly, this is the best pizza by the slice available in Bay Ridge right now.We stopped in on a Saturday for a quick lunch and to-go order and walked away pleasantly satisfied. The Hot Grandma's square with pepperoni and Mike's Hot Honey was delicious and very well-balanced. The Mediterranean slice was fresh and featured an abundance of fresh vegetables and olives. The to-go item was a buffalo chicken slice which looked and tasted amazing.The only disappointment was the small order of garlic knots. It did not taste like it was made with the same dough as the pizza, or the same sauce as on the pizza. Leading to an off taste when being eaten along with the pizza. This issue does not impact my review as I was hoping for good pizza and received excellent pizza.Other than that, good service, employees, and a clean establishment."

"Worst delivery experience I?ve had to date. As a person who?s worked in the industry for 20 years, it?s nearly impossible to make me displeased enough to leave a review. I ordered take out from this establishment in June and was sent the complete wrong dish. I managed bc at least it was still pretty good, although not what I wanted. I decided to give them another shot. I ordered penne vodka with crabmeat at a total of $19. What got delivered to my house was plain penne pasta with blush sauce? not one piece of crab. I nicely called and explained to them what happened and the man who answered the phone told me ?I?m lying? and that ?his chef swears I?m crazy and that he made it correctly. He proceeded to argue with me about how I?m wrong and didn?t offer any ways on how to fix this situation. Then he asked me if he could put me on hold as I heard him talking negatively about me to staff members saying that I?m nuts and he believes them and ?ya just can?t make people happy? ? when I told him I heard what he said he responded.. ?you?re right, you can?t? ? this was the most unprofessional thing I?ve ever encountered and this place will never get another dollar of my money"

"For the price, they didn’t get the little things right. We arrived promptly for a reservation and were seated after about a min wait and a decent walk at the end of the lawn closest to the beach. Not sure what the wait was since only about half the tables were occupied. We were sat in a table right in the beating sun, despite all other diners being in the shade. After about mins being uncomfortably hot and waiting for a staff member I flagged down a server, and asked to move tables. He asked we not move and went on the long walk to get our server. She asked we not move and went on the long walk to talk to the hostess who thankfully approved our request. Again, only about half the tables were occupied so I am not sure if the shady tables were reserved for more important diners. After dripping in my own sweat, the beer I ordered (tropical wheat) was not available and the waitress stated she was unsure why it was even on the menu since it hadn’t been served in a long time. The rest of the beer menu was unexceptional. Even the Flying Fish Tavern Ale I ordered was average despite the brewery generally producing excellent stuff. Crab soup was ok but a bit thin on crab, and lobster lasagna well made but every bite tasted identical and there were no sides to break the monotony. Cape Resorts you can do better. We dined at the Ebbitt Room earlier in the week and small amount more in pricing got us a step change in dining experience."

"I was on the lookout for a different pub in the area and was pleased with the menu I saw. So, at 7:30 a.m. today, I finally decided to visit at 7:43 a.m. However, despite sitting at the bar, I didn’t even receive a glass of water. A young male employee didn’t greet us, didn't offer menus, and didn’t bring us water, but he did take the time to clear dishes and check on the only other couple at the bar. Meanwhile, the bartender welcomed a group of three who arrived after us, took their orders, and prepared their drinks. I can't shake the feeling that the service culture at this restaurant isn't great, especially towards certain guests. I will definitely not return and would advise others to stay away as well."

"My husband ordered food through door dash. I order the open turkey meal which is supposed to come with turkey on a wedge with stuffing carrots and mash potatoes. They gave a optional side and he wanted onion rings.okay no problem. I get my food and surprise surprise there was no mash potatoes. So I guess this place is in the habit of false advertising. Then I called to speak to a manager and of course they left for the day. Apparently the people who work there are incompetent and can't read their own menu. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I guess they hire people who don't have a 5th grade reading level."

I ended up throwing them away couldn't even Chew them they were so dry and nasty. Update, response to owner.: No need to get buthurt, just do better from now on."

"LAURAS used to be a wonderful dining destination that we frequented every Friday. However, the takeout lines grew so long that it became uncomfortable to sit near the queue. Eventually, we stopped visiting due to slow table service. Last Friday, five of us decided to give it another try and ordered shrimp ravioli, a chicken cheesesteak, a tuna cheesesteak, and a personal pizza that my daughter and I shared. Unfortunately, the ravioli tasted like it was store-bought, and the shrimp still had their tails on! The chicken cheesesteak was dry and made entirely from dark meat, while the tuna cheesesteak was also dry and unappetizing. The personal pizza was a letdown; the crust was so thin that we had to eat it with a knife and fork, and it tasted like frozen pizza dough. The small side salads were laughable—a plate of lettuce with just three slices of tomato! As for the bruschetta, it was made with canned tomatoes instead of fresh ones. In fact, nothing we ordered was enjoyable. It will be a long time before we consider returning, which is disappointing. This used to be a fantastic local pizzeria, but it has really gone downhill. It didn’t even seem that busy for a Friday night like it used to be. Perhaps there are new owners or the younger generation is now in charge. It’s disheartening to witness such a decline!"
