"I had a friend recommend and take me to porters and cannot say I would have been happier with anywhere else. Porters is a unique bar with a decor that I would rather not spoil, all you need to do is look up when you get there. The server I got was very friendly and attentive to my table. Not once that I have to ask for a refill on water which is always how I like to judge somewhere. He was telling us jokes and even gave recommendations for what was on the menu that day. The food itself was wonderful I got a prime rib sandwich with kettle chips that tasted much better than any pub food I've had. It did not taste like the food had been sitting out and was actually made with some care. I also got cheesecake as a dessert and it was their own take on it which was different. For that day I had turtle cheesecake which was like the candy but in cheesecake form simply put. You definitely get amazing quality food for what you're paying for. The only negative thing I can say about this place is something they cannot even control. Parking is an absolute nightmare you either have the choice of a main street or a hill about as steep as Mount Everest. Water was wonderful 8.6/10"
