"My favorite Mexican restaurant in Wheeling. I've been going to this place for how long and I just really love their food. I would go here each time I am craving for Mexican foods because they have the best of it in the area based on experience especially their tacos and burritos. There are also times that I honestly experienced something not great but going back and forth to the place for a long time, I got used to it and there are just really times where everything is not good which is basically understandable. I love that the restaurant is consistent to their food and to their prices as well. The food is definitely delicious, full of flavor, fresh and the prices are very reasonable and this is also perfect whenever I am in a hurry or sometimes, I wanted food really fast. It is not something fancy which is really nice and the ambiance of the restaurant is very comfortable. Customer service of the restaurant is also great and the staffs are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is definitely the restaurant that you should not miss to visit here in Wheeling."

"What a treat! I'm not hungry at all after my visit to Famous Burrito—I’m completely stuffed! The tacos, burritos, and enchiladas were incredibly delicious. I had a 3-taco dinner with al pastor, pollo, and puerco, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chile relleno was also fantastic, and I savored every sip of the homemade horchata. If you're in the Hoffman Estates/Bartlett area and love great food, you absolutely must stop by Famous Burrito!"

"This place has truly improved over the years. I have been coming here now for quite some time and the food is just delicious. I just ate the taco dinner with chicken and the tacos were so unbelievably fresh. As I'm sitting here it's 5:24 pm and people are coming in for dinner so you know it's good. "I feel bad leaving such a low review but it's deserving. My friend and I went to get tacos and mangonadas. I ordered 3 chicken tacos and she got the birra tacos. The mangonadas are amazing worth the trip itself. They load them up with Mexican candy and they're huge drinks you can split one and stil not finish it. The tacos came out and instead of chicken they made me 2 beef tacos, 1 chicken. I didn't complain because I was hungry but when I took my first bite, I thought there's no way... then I took another and yep. NO flavor no seasoning. It was horrible. My friends birra tacos weren't any better they needed salt and some seasoning just so bland. We didn't feel like complaining because it took a bit to get the food. So we just loaded up on the mangonada and ate what we could of what we had. Unfortunately, I would not go for the food here. I'd get the Mexican candy and or the drinks only."

Now, I've been to almost ALL TAQUERIAS in SF and South SF and I wish I was able to support much more with their new hours. Bayshore Taqueria feels like home every time I come here. Please consider their new hours to eat from Bayshore Taqueria (11:30-2pm M-F). It is now in my calendar to order M/W/F 11:30-2pm for my lunch to support. "Then, another woman approached and was very rude, dismissing our concerns by saying that the chicken was not raw because it had been eaten. I pointed out that while the exterior of the chicken was cooked, the center was not, and all we wanted was to make them aware of the issue, not to seek compensation. Instead of understanding, she continued to argue. I then requested our check so we could leave, but she persisted in arguing. This was the worst dining experience we've ever had, and my fiancé is still suffering from a stomach ache due to the undercooked chicken. "Went to the new sizzling downtown restaurant. It was the worst food and experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The only American food was greasy ribs, burnt potatoes and hard bread. The enchiladas consisted of a dry crunchy tortilla and not much else. We sat down to eat what we had reluctantly put on our plats and couldn't get past a few bites. There was also shrimp tails in some sort of creamy dish I couldn't identify.Then if that wasn't bad enough I was charged full price for a meal my family and I didn't even eat. Don't waist your time and money on this place. Would give it 0 stars if that were an option."

"Stuck with them for years, through the sticky tables and random wheat tortillas when I asked for corn, but today's the last. Cheese dip is more like cheese water, tea containers have no lids, and they don't ask if you need salsa for your chips or tacos... even though it's not self serve possibly because of the virus. "I've had the food before and thought it was very good. However, a recent visit was very disappointing. On a Monday evening I walked in there around 8 pm. The cook was in another room and came out after being called on by a very pleasant woman who was cleaning at the time I entered the restaurant. The cook entered the kitchen while talking on his cell phone. He did NOT wash his hands. He did NOT put his cell phone down. Instead, he proceeded to talk on his cell phone while preparing my food. Let me be clear that he was not talking on a hands free phone. It was a cell phone that he attempted to hold to his ear with his shoulder, but frequently used his hands to adjust and switch ears. Mind you, I ordered tacos which requires the use of hands while preparing. I sat there thinking about how filthy the phone was (all cell phones are thoroughly dirty) and got up and left. C'mon! Common sense says that any cook should put down his or her cell phone and wash their hands before preparing a customer's food (especially when the cook was previously in another room and you don't know if his hands were even clean to begin with).November 2021 Update: After several years I decided to give this place another shot. After being charged nearly $15 for a plain cheese quesadilla on a flour tortilla (which was average tasting at best), I'm done with this place. Do yourself a favor and head a few blocks north where you can get fresh and quality food at Taco Heaven(corner of 10th and State Street)."

"I've been wanting to try the South Indian food at this restaurant since they started offering it, and I finally got the chance. The decor still reflects its former life as a takeout burrito spot, but I knew that enjoying a crisp dosa in-house would be much better than having a soggy one at home. There was a bit of a wait for my meal, and I noticed another customer waiting as well (which is why I gave it 4 stars), but it was absolutely worth it. I ordered the spinach masala dosa, which came with a delicious soup and a flavorful condiment that had a refreshing taste. Every bite was delightful. The owner was also very friendly. This is the first Indian restaurant I've found in the Bronx, and since I consider South Indian cuisine a true delicacy, I will definitely be returning!"

I ordered through an app and they attemted to deliver my food and no body answered the door I work at the place of delivery and my job is in the front desk looking at the street so I dont know where they went? definally not to my job.
