"FAB HOT DOGS offers a gastronomic pallette of colorful comfort. The counter artists deftly create vibrant, tube steak sandwiches. The Chicago style hot dog is an excellent example. ¹ First, the pink red, meat or vegan dog is heated in boiling water. When at temperature, the sausage, whose color becomes an inviting red, is then encased in a cloud soft, steamed, yellowish brown, split bun, that 's lightly coated with blue black poppy seeds. Next, layer upon layer of sweet and savory condiments fashion the collage. First, a zigzag line of brilliant yellow mustard highlights the red hot. Next, tablespoons of chartreuse pickle relish and diced white onion are gently layered. Carefully nested, between the sausage and the bun, are two red tomato slices, and on the opposite side, two yellow green sport peppers. Finally, a deep green kosher pickle spear is placed on top and sprinkled with a dash of greenish brown celery salt. Perfection. My system for devouring this mixed texture salad on a dog is to pull the pickle spear, squeeze the bun, and take a satisfying bite; then alternate with bites of fries and pickle. Be aware: hot sports peppers bite back. It is considered gauche to squirt ketchup on Chicago 's hot dog, but enlightened to dip crisp, golden brown fries into the gorgeous red condiment. Fab provides vegan and all meat frankfurters and burgers. Order from Jessica or one of the other friendly, knowledgeable counter people. There is no table service. Since hot dogs are reflective of the street culture of their regions, New York style frankfurters ² are combined with the acid fermentation of yellowish green sauerkraut, diced raw white onions, and dark yellow mustard, to provide the proper Big Apple 's Tang. The sandwich is encased in a yellowish brown, split, steamed roll. Defined by California 's Mexican heritage, ³ pink red frankfurters, wrapped in pink white striped bacon, are roasted to reddish brown. The charred, bacon wrapped sausage is placed into a yellowish brown, split, toasted roll. Lines of deep red ketchup, bright yellow mustard, and snow white mayo, intertwine to highlight the protein. Fried, until charred, diced white onions, and multicolored peppers are added, completing the LA Street Dog. At Fab, proteins may be boiled, steamed, fried, or grilled and enjoyed with a selection of Mexican and American soft drinks. Gluten free buns, fries, chicken, onion rings, sandwiches, salads, and corn on the cob, fill their menu. Recently, an assortment of bowl meals has been added. They will mix or match to meet your dietary preferences. Sit Indoor or on the patio. Telephone, internet, carry outs, curbside pickup, and no contact deliveries are available. Everything, including easy, free parking, and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. Keys to use the bathrooms are available at the order desk. Fab Hot Dogs has a special benefit for regular customers. Eat all that 's on the menu (Not, hopefully, in one sitting. and get a t shirt and have your picture displayed in the I Ate It All Wall of Fame. The Food Channel 's Guy Fieri (Diners, Drive Ins and Dives loved the place. His picture is proudly displayed. So be a kid again. It 's just like sitting at a picnic table on the 4th of July. Just chomp on a couple of yellow green sport peppers and you 'll experience colorful fireworks. ¹ Reportedly, the Chicago style, all beef frank, on a poppy seeded bun, originated at Abe Fluky Drexler 's stand in 1929. Vegetable toppings were added to improve nutrition. During the 1930s, they sold for a nickel. ² In 1871, Charles Feltman opened the first Coney Island hot dog stand selling 3,684 dachshund sausages in a roll during his first year in business. ³ The Los Angeles bacon wrapped street dog, most likely came from Hermosillo, Mexico, in the 1950 's. "Acknowledging our AMAZING server Payton! Who was hustling fantastic during a packed dinner service! The Lacey Red Robin had awful reviews so I chose to drive to Olympia where I have always had a good experience I was glad I did. I was told there wouldbe a 15 minute wait but we were in in less than 10. After ordering I asked Payton if we could switch tables and I know with itbeing packed I could have easily been turned down but he very quickly cleaned up the table next to us and we were moved within 3minutes. He was friendly patient constantly coming around checking on us and or at least glancing our way with every pass cuzI told him I’d flag him down if we needed anything. I noticed he was very attentive to all the tables around as well I payattention to good customer service he never stopped hustling, I never saw him standing still or moving slow he always askedif people needed anything else. I haven’t had great service like that in a long time so I felt obligated to write a review toacknowledge him. This was the kind of server I’d expect in an upscale establishment , surprised to have such good service atRed Robin honestly. We used to eat here a lot but never had a server so attentive to not just us but all his tables. Therestaurant was clean, A bit noisy , but that’s typical for the place and we were also right between the kitchen and barareas… so to be expected. Food was great , I had signed up for rewards and was redeeming my free birthday burger, no hasslesthere. They have tablet type things at the table that have games so that was awesome my 2.5 yr old occupied distracted himfrom having a meltdown so I appreciated that. Food came fast I ordered several more rounds of bottomless fries that camepromptly. Only real complaint the only reason I knocked a star off is they were out of most of the beers so wasn’t muchof a choice there , I believe there were only 3 to pick from. l went with Stella which I drink regularly, but it"

"**UPDATED REVIEW - 6/21/2024** After a disappointing initial visit, Angry Owl completely redeemed itself during our most recent dining experience on June 21, 2024, around 6:20 PM. The transformation was astounding, largely thanks to our exceptional server, Victor Munoz. Although he mentioned he was still learning, his service was truly the best we have ever had. His attentiveness, professionalism, and sincere friendliness made our evening thoroughly enjoyable. From the moment we were seated, Victor ensured we were well taken care of. He promptly refilled our drinks and took our orders without any delays. His positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service was evident throughout the meal. Victor's attention to detail—ranging from menu suggestions to regularly checking in on us—showed a level of care and dedication that is quite rare. He is truly a star in the making, and his efforts did not go unnoticed. Additionally, it was impressive to see one of the cooks come out to check that the food was to our liking. This attention to detail was a refreshing change, showcasing a standard of customer care that significantly enhanced our dining experience. Overall, we are blown away by the turnaround in service. Thanks to Victor's exceptional assistance and the proactive approach of the staff, our perception of Angry Owl has completely changed. It is clear that management has listened to feedback and made significant improvements. We are thrilled to have given Angry Owl another chance and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended! --- **INITIAL VISIT** My initial visit to Angry Owl was marked by incredibly poor service, leaving me thoroughly dissatisfied. Here’s why I cannot recommend this establishment and will not be returning: **Unwelcoming Atmosphere:** The ambiance was lackluster, and the staff seemed more engaged in their own conversations than in attending to customers. It felt as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. **Slow Service:** Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy in the bar/table section, it took an unusually long time for our orders to be taken. Our bartender took our orders since Gilbert, our assigned server, did not come to our table until midway through our meal. **Inattentive Staff:** Once Gilbert took over, it was challenging to get his attention as he was often out of sight and did not check on us. Our requests for assistance were forgotten entirely, forcing us to flag down another staff member who was delivering food. **Poor Management:** There was a noticeable absence of management oversight, suggesting a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. **Bartender Serving as Server:** The only staff member who showed a positive attitude was the bartender, who informed us that Gilbert was our server. However, Gilbert’s delayed appearance marked the beginning of our dissatisfaction. Although I didn’t catch her name, the bartender did take our drink and appetizer orders and brought them to us, stepping in effectively during a moment of need. Ultimately, my experience at Angry Owl was extremely disappointing due to the abysmal service that followed. While the bartender and hostess were a bright spot, I cannot say the same for the rest of the staff that day. I would advise others to avoid this establishment until significant improvements are made in the quality of service provided."
