"As for the food, I was a bit disappointed with the Crispy Pata. It wasn't as crispy as I had hoped; there were still a lot of fatty and sticky skin parts, which might have been due to not frying it long enough and the number of customers present at that time. In terms of flavor, it was rather bland, lacking in herbs and spices. I also ordered a dish that resembled beef curry (I’m not sure of its name), which I actually enjoyed. It had a mild taste, and the beef was cooked nicely. I rounded out my meal with a BBQ pork skewer and fried banana, both of which were just okay – rather plain and too sweet for my taste.
Regarding the service, as mentioned earlier, this is a casual dining spot, so don’t expect a professional level of service. It’s an ordinary and informal restaurant, though it does have plenty of dining space with many tables.
If you have some background in Filipino food, it may enhance your visit to this place. However, if you're looking for a challenge and want to learn about authentic Filipino style cuisine, you'll be fine too. As a final note, before leaving, I bought a Filipino dessert simply because I liked the violet color. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it wasn’t anything special."
