"We ordered take out dinner for 2,Spicy butter chicken, rice, garlic naan bread, and an appetizer. For the price point, The portions were very small. The naan bread looked about half the size as others from videos I had seen on TikTok. It didn’t seem any of the dips (chutney , yogurt) were included in the price of the meal, had to be ordered separately. Our total was about 65$ and were left still feeling hungry. I really appreciated being about to try food from different cultures. The atmosphere was very clean, however there was not one other customer in the store. The quality of the food was good, however the portions do not match the high price tag."

"I've yet to sit down here and eat, but have picked up here a couple times. The food is awesome, very filling. Even though I havent sat at a table I have been inside and it always smells great in the resturant. Staff are always super friendly and usually my to go orders are ready before the timer. "I like this place, but I must come back to rethink again because both times I have gedified at this place, the restaurant is absolutely empty working with only one guy and both times I was told that many of the menu points are not possible for them to make them, they have all the ingredients, but they refused to make most of the items so that I choose from a smaller menu. It happened twice. The guy's always in a hurry to get me and my party out. Bad service."

"Tried their food at Third Thursday and it was good! Gave them a shot on Saturday night and was horribly disappointed. Had to ring the doorbell several times before someone answered. On a Saturday night. That should have been the first clue. The vegetable appetizer plate was a mixed bag. The samosa was good. Most fried items were overcooked and so dry they were nearly inedible. They tasted stale and old as if they'd either been frozen after cooking or sitting for hours. The Malai Kofta had a delicious creamy sauce but the fried vegetable balls were again so stale and dry they were inedible. I needed a knife to cut them despite the fact they'd been sitting in sauce. The garlic cilantro naan was also cold and stale. Hard as a rock. Nearly impossible to tear or bute off a piece. Super dry as well. My partner said the biryani was good. I guess I'm spoiled by the Indian restaurants in Providence where there are enough customers to be open on Saturday nights and justify cooking everything fresh. I'll stick to making my own from now on."

"We were in town visiting and we love our Indian food and are Indian food connoisseurs. Their food is very good!!!! Highly recommend the chicken 65 but honestly it’s more like chili chicken.. if you don’t know what they are it’s a spicy chicken with light sauce on it! It has onions and green peppers in it. We also got the goat curry, chicken, tikka masala and garlic naan they were all fantastic highly recommend them.Now let’s talk about their customer service …IT’S HORRIBLE!!!… usually when you eat in or take out at a Indian restaurant onions are offered to you with your food to eat along because it pairs nicely with the food. never have I ever been charged for onions at any Indian restaurant. This was ridiculous for them not to give it with the food for free.And to sit there are bicker with my husband over it.So be prepared to be charged for every little small thing you ask for when you go. check your receipt or ask if there’s a charge and how much.Enjoy"

"We were craving Indian food and wanted to try a different place other than Rangoli. Ordered online for a pick up at 7pm. We had a warm welcome and our food was waiting for us. We had two orders of Chicken Tika Masala, one butter chicken and naan. When we got home, we were surprised of the portions as well as missing naan. The food was good, but we only had a small portion of rice to go with it all. We ended up making our own rice. I called that evening to let them know the issues and left a message. Four days later, still no response. Thought we give them a try, but our first experience and impression was not a favorable one."

"AVOID THIS PLACE. I downgraded my review from 5 stars to 1 because we used to absolutely love this restaurant. The service was once fantastic, but as they grew, the friendly service diminished. While the food was great, it’s merely okay compared to other Indian restaurants I've tried. They lure customers in with an "all you can eat" sign, but they've actually discontinued the buffet while still advertising it. Also, there’s no parking available."

"As I sit here eating my still-delectable leftovers from last night, I am called to stop what I’m doing. I must share with you just how high my opinion of this place is. Despite being short-staffed, our waitress was extremely pleasant and playful, and the food is quite possibly the best Indian-style I’ve had in all of Phoenix, truly. The only thing that could have made our experience better is if the TV wasn’t playing garden-variety, “if it bleeds it leads” cable news. I will return to Hilal Grill and hope to receive the same incredible food and friendly service again again. Thanks for being here!"

"I have submitted this listing and from this time it is not completely correct. yak and yeti have the buffet for lunch and dinner, but there is a separate vegan section that they can order on the menu if they want to skip the buffet. yak and yeti also have a location in arvada. with most breweries the beer takes the central stage. with yak and yeti it is eating. eating is great. they can order their food in terms of spiciness according to their specifications, plus they have a choice of 3 species of rice. the beer? it's good, but there are better breweries out there. the heavenly ipa is very good and supplements the eating very well. remember that the vast majority of their customers order the buffet option. I have eaten twice in denver yak and yeti. the employees seem a little unpleasant when they order from the menu. it's almost as if it happened once in a blue moon. do not leave this from a great culinary experience."

"I wasn't aware that India Cafe and Anar were the same place, so I'm sharing this review for both. It saddens me to write this. We've dined at Anar a few times and always enjoyed the food and service. The entrees were consistently delicious, full of flavor and spice. We've also ordered takeout several times without disappointment. However, today's experience was the complete opposite. Perhaps there was a new chef in the kitchen, but all three entrees fell far short of expectations. Each dish was bland, with the gravies being overly diluted. The Chicken Chettinad we ordered was not prepared correctly; it's typically one of the most flavorful and spicy dishes in South Indian cuisine, but this version lacked spice and had a watered-down flavor. The same could be said for the Saag Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala. I almost considered returning the food to the restaurant. Had we lived closer, I might have done so, but it was just too hot and humid outside, and the restaurant is quite a distance from our home. I'm really disappointed by this experience and I'm uncertain if I'll order takeout from here again."
