"I went there for a second time. The food is okay, but they cut the catfish in three sections before frying it. So when you got a piece of catfish it was just 1/3 of what a whole catfish piece would be normally. That is being very cheap. I liked the restaurant the first time I went there, but once the catfish got small, I was no longer satisfied. I did have a lobster tail that was very good. That was the best part of my last visit. I think they should serve a whole piece of catfish and raise the price a little bit. But don't get skimpy on us. Also the waitress we had at the beginning of our meal was not very friendly. We had to ask for napkins and other things. She acted like She either hated her job or she didn't want to serve African Americans. It could have been a little bit of both. Maybe she was having a bad day. But she should not have shown it. Our second waitress was wonderful. She was very attentive. Why we had two different waitresses, I have no idea. The one that seemed to be having a problem was gone after giving us plates and drinks. I would still go there again but I would focus on a lobster tail and crab cake next time.Kid-friendliness: There were many kids there. They seem to love it. They had high chairs and everything for them. They made it look like it's a fun place to be. Almost every other table had children sitting there.Wheelchair accessibility: I believe there was a ramp for a wheelchair to get inside. They would just need help with the door when going in the restaurant."

"I am writing this review to express my disappointment with OpenTable's service. Recently, I had an unfortunate experience with a restaurant listed on their platform that turned out to be closed. I had made a reservation through OpenTable for a special occasion, and my excitement was quickly dashed when we arrived at the restaurant only to find it completely shut down. It was incredibly frustrating to have wasted my time and energy planning for a memorable dining experience, only to be left empty-handed. What bothers me the most is that OpenTable failed to update their database to reflect the closure of this business. As a widely-used online reservation platform, you have a responsibility to maintain accurate and up-to-date information for the benefit of your users. This experience has left me with a negative impression of OpenTable and a reluctance to use the platform. As a customer, I expect reliability and transparency from a platform that I rely on for making reservations. Unfortunately, OpenTable failed to meet these expectations and left me feeling frustrated and misled. I sincerely hope that OpenTable takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving their accuracy and customer support. Until then, I will be exploring alternative platforms that prioritize providing accurate information and reliable service. Overall, I would not recommend OpenTable based on my disappointing experience."

"I was telling my colleague about my New Orleans trip and the joys of crawfish and they told me they never had crawfish before. What?!?! They thought it was like a shrimp. I'm like no no no it's more like a baby lobster. Let's go! On the Hook was a convenient halfway spot for us to meet for a lunch meeting. Service was quick and friendly. I enjoyed the seasonal halloween decor, super cute. We shared their Fried Calamari $13.99) as an appetizer. It was battered and crispy, but the batter would easily fall apart so at some point we gave up and just picked it up like finger food. It was nice and crunchy but the batter definitely struggled to stay on. For our glorious meal, my colleague had 1 lb Crawfish $19.99/lb) 1 lb Shrimp Peeled $20.99) with Red Potatoes $2.99) garlic butter mild and I had 1 lb Crawfish $19.99/lb) 1 lb Shrimp $18.99) with Corn $2.25) garlic butter mild. I was surprised when the food arrived because the crawfish and the shrimp were in separate bags. I actually like them together. The sauce here was very chunky and thick. The crawfish was pretty good considering they aren't in season, but a little overpriced compared to other places. The shrimp was decent, and according to my graveyard a good pound, but some pieces were less fresh and the skin was soggy to peel. I preferred the crawfish over the shrimp, but the shrimp was there to be filling. Corn was skinny and definitely overpriced. At the end of the meal they had a special fizzy water bubble thing for us to wash our hands. I had already washed my hands with limes, sanitizing wipes and the soaps and water but it was nice to get an additional cleanse, especially with seafood. Service was definitely above and beyond. Pricing is just a tad above similar business types."
