"Located in an older strip mall just off 35E, Wildcats is a great spot that stays open late, unlike many other bars and restaurants in the area. While their tap beer selection is somewhat limited—I'm more of a beer enthusiast—their mixed drinks are quite popular and budget-friendly. One of my favorite things is their special burger deal on Monday nights: a massive burger grilled to perfection and served on a toasted bun. Extras do come at an additional cost, but with prices starting at just $5, it's a great deal.
The onion rings are truly the best I've ever tasted—crispy, firm, and seemingly cooked in a super-hot fryer. They’re just perfect! There's also a cozy covered patio that stretches out into the parking lot in front of the restaurant. I've visited Wildcats four or five times now, and it's almost always lively with people enjoying their time. The staff is friendly and well-acquainted with many of the regulars, adding to its small-town charm.
I would give Wildcats a solid 5-star rating for its convenient parking, charming patio, fantastic daily food and drink specials, wonderfully grilled burgers, and vibrant atmosphere. The staff is wonderful too! However, I would rate their beer selection at 2.5 stars, as the focus here is more on hard liquor, with only a few standard beers on tap. I usually go for Grainbelt Nordeast, which is easy to enjoy, as well as their Moscow Mules. Overall, it's a fantastic place!"
