"5 My son had the Italian beef, I had the double smashburger with cheese. I was in Norm's years ago, and my oldest son wanted to stop as we were driving by today. I have to admit the food was good The meat was super fresh, the Italian bread fresh, the buns fresh, the only thing I wish, they would take down all of those yellow plastic chains. I don't know why they're up, maybe people drink all the pop? But it would be nice to be able to walk over there and top off your large drink while you're eating. But anyway, that has nothing to do with the cleanliness which was excellent, and the food which matched the cleanliness. I've been to a lot of hot dog places in this area and others, and norms does a good job with the typical Chicago burgers and hot dogs, Maxwell Street Polish, and The dipped Italian beef. 35 bucks is a little steep, but it is worth it if you have that hankering. And I had it that day, lol!"
