"Delicious, cute, wholesome diner in downtown Chicago. These are hands down some of the best pancakes I have ever had! The skillet was good but greasy. The fries were phenomenal and the wrap looked good too. Mimosas were okay. I will be back to try more things here because the menu is HUGE but it seemed expensive to me- roughly $30 for lunch for one person- no thank you."

"This is an excellent breakfast spot! I had a fantastic meal here; the food was hot and fresh. I ordered the classic breakfast, which included eggs, ham, and a generous portion of French toast. The French toast was massive, and my eggs were cooked to perfection—I ordered them over medium. The service was friendly, and our food arrived quickly despite the restaurant being busy. The coffee was also impressive—strong and flavorful. Everyone in my group enjoyed their breakfast, and I would definitely recommend this place. The prices were somewhat high, ranging from $15 to $20 for most meals."

"This is the best breakfast I've had in a while. The gyro meat is perfectly seasoned. I would eat it every day if I could. The pancakes are the best I've had at any restaurant. The staff are attentive, friendly, and welcoming, even when they're busy. I recommend sitting at the counter. It was a cool experience."

"Definitely didn't live up to the reviews. Ordered eggs, potatoes, 2 strips of bacon, toast and coffee, $21. Had the potatoes even had a hint of seasoning it would have been passable... the bacon was good. But everything except the eggs seemed warmed up but not in a good way, like lazy microwaving. A well run Denny's which is hard to find these days is much better. Plus, $3.50 for one cup of drip coffee, that's nuts.Response to owner comments 11/11/23: Thank you for replying to the review. It is in a pretty convenient location when I'm visiting the area. To be fair, if I'm the area I will give it another try and update my review to reflex any changes."

"We've been by Patty's Eggnest many times on our way to the Mukilteo Ferry. Today we finally stopped and we're really glad we did. Our eggs were cooked perfectly and the portions were so large we definitely didn't need lunch. Also, the service was outstanding and our coffee cups never had less than half a cup in them. Highly recommended."
