"So far I’ve been here twice, but I know that I will come back many, many times.My husband were driving around the area and saw Umai while we were picking out take out from another restaurant. We looked it up and immediately knew we had to check it out! And I’m SO glad we did.It’s a very small restaurant. There’s a couple of tables, some bar spots, and some tables outside. They do take reservations, though, if you call ahead, which is nice.The first time we came on a Saturday around 7:30 and were glad to get seats inside at the bar. We were blown away by the food! I got the curry ramen and my husband got the Katsu curry with rice. We both loved our dishes. The curry ramen was the perfect combination of everything good the curry broth was slightly spicy, the chicken was perfect, and the noodles were great. We also got there karaage chicken (didn’t get a picture) which was great. The chicken pieces were large and juicy, and the dipping sauce was very good.The second time we came, my mom was visiting. We made reservations ahead of time. My mom isn’t very adventurous with her food, but even she was blown away by Umai.So far we’ve loved everything we’ve eaten here so far, and can’t wait to keep coming back and trying more and enjoying it all!"
