"My partner and I have frequently visited the Happy Lemon on N. Wolfe Rd. Happy Lemon is one of our favorite boba tea places to visit for a relaxing time and good tea. We don't expect our experience to be perfect or correct every time, as sometimes our drinks might be missing boba or another type of topping or we receive the wrong drink. However, I have never thought a piece of their equipment appliance would end up in my drink. There was a plastic cap found at the bottom of my drink that I didn't notice was there at the time of purchase. My partner and I have been visiting this place for our boba tea fix for some time now, but I am not sure if it is a good idea for me to even return after this incident."

"I visited Happy Lemon today because they were hosting an opening event out front, and I happened to be walking by. I was intrigued by the salted cheese boba, but I decided to go with their promotion and got a free reusable straw for my visits. The store is charming, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the boba is fantastic. I can't wait to return and try something new!"

"8/20/22 This is one of the nicer Happy Lemons I 've been to. It 's a bit hipstery, a bit happy happy. Lots of wood and nice finishes on the walls and tables and stuff. Feels airy nice place to relax unlike many packed boba places. 1. Strawberry Milk Shake caffeine free, soy milk alternative : FINALLY!!! a drink that 's lactose free by default!!! It was good too. Creamy. Maybe could use more strawberry flavor, but given it 's soy milk, it was remarkably tasty. No, not as good as if you mushed up fresh strawberries into milk like my mom used to make for me, but for what it is I liked it. 8/10 1a. Boba $0.94 1b. Tiramisu Salted Cheese $1.25: So, this was my mistake. Yes, it really does taste like tiramisu!!! Amazing. Alas, it didn 't pair well with the strawberry shake. Thought it would, but the two flavors were too distinct. Anyway happy lemon continues to make some of the best and most original drinks............. keep bringing on the lactose free (but try using lactose free milk next time)! "Always fast and friendly service. When you order the waffle puff thing they always check with you to let you know there is a small wait (usually about 10 min or so depending on the crowd size and orders ahead). Drinks have always been a hit. I don't know if it's just me but the milk tea with boba is the best I've tasted so far. It's also consistent from one happy lemon to another so if I'm not feeling like getting any other drink my go-to is the milk tea with boba. They were also open Thanksgiving 2022 so when I went there I made sure to tip for thanking them for being open. Def recommend this place"

"Happy Lemon is honestly a boba shop that I put in the same tier as stores like Quickly so I personally don't have super high expectations whenever I go to one. I haven't gone to other Happy Lemons recently, but I wish this one in particular would adopt the idea of having kiosks inside the store to make the ordering process much easier instead of having to order in front of a cashier. I know some people like ordering at a cashier and talking to people, but not everyone does. I just want to grab and go with my drinks sometimes. On the plus side the workers there are really friendly. The music is pretty loud inside so sometimes they can mishear what you are saying which led to me getting my drink at 25% sweet instead of 75%. Inside also isn't the cleanest when I went. I ordered the Matcha Tiramisu Salted Cheese $6.50). Honestly it was still fine even at 25% sweet, but the matcha definitely tatstes super artificial and sugary. I couldn't really taste the tiramisu part of the salted cheese and it just tastes like a regular salted cheese which they honestly do make pretty well. I've also tried the Yakult Lemon Slushy. It was good although I couldn't taste the Yakult flavor at all and just tasted like an ordinary lemon slush. Their drinks are solid, but nothing too noteworthy to me. Their gimmicky drinks just taste like their regular drinks in my opinion. The service is great though and it is in a good location with easy parking."

"I came in around ten mins to closing and the workers were cleaning up but super nice about it. The interior was super clean and didn't have a weird smell or anything. Our drinks were made super quickly too. I got grapefruit and yakult which I always recommend everyone- it's the only thing I get here. My friend got a tea with cream cheese foam. I don't come to this location very often but I will definitely come by in the future. There were actual grapefruit chunks in the drink which I haven't noticed at other locations."

"Fast service, good tea, boppin ' music. Love the lemon and black tea. Tons of parking, a quick walk to a park. Really overall a nice location that I will return to. Another reviewer mentioned how dirty this location is and they are correct. Unsure if this location has a manager, the floors are dirty inside and out. The windows are filthy. These seem like the things you 'd do everyday before a shift starts but nobody is checking for cleanliness. And I don 't mean oh they are busy and didn 't get to it during the rush No, no, this is cumulative mess from people not doing the work."

"I just visited this Happy Lemon five minutes ago, and I had a really unpleasant experience. The cashier was quite rude. When I tried to place my order, she interrupted me and yelled, “Wait, wait, wait!” That was really disrespectful. I ended up leaving and won’t be returning for drinks, even though I live just five minutes away and have been a customer for years. It was a very disappointing experience."

"I came in wanting an A5 MilkTea Oreo Tiramisu Cheese drink with green tea bubble waffle. I found the service lacking with no thank you's and apathetic attitude. I went over to High Tech Burrito to get my other order. When I came back, I got my drink and waffle and came back home. Once I was near the end of my drink, I was scooping up some Oreo fragments with a plastic fork, and when I started chewing the Oreo, I felt a recognizable texture that I knew to be hair.I pulled it out of my mouth and examined it. It was disgusting, and it made wonder if the guy with the dreadlocks (not wearing a cap) shook his hair and a piece of hair fell into my drink, or he placed it in there on purpose. If it's the latter, that's really messed up since I've been friendly to them my whole visit. You need to tell your employees to wear caps if you have long hair; having a piece of hair in your mouth is f unsanitary.I'm glad I didn't give them a tip since I would probably regret that after drinking my tea. Please be more sanitary. I know it's just a teenage/college-aged job for you, but I didn't deserve a nasty piece of hair in my drink. The employees at High Tech Burrito were friendlier than y'all."

"I've been coming to Happy Lemon pretty consistently since they've opened up a few years back, the service is always friendly and they get your drinks out quite fast depending on how busy they are. The drinks are always good and I have yet to have a bad experience here (I highly doubt I ever will). The simplicity of the boba shop's interior design is very nice in my opinion. I enjoy it more than what most boba shops here in town tend to do. Also, if you have the chance I highly recommend trying their bubble waffles! It's soft and chewy on the inside but crispy on the outside (make sure to eat it right away or else the outside will get soft)."

"Despite my young child needing to use the restroom urgently, the Happy Lemon staff refused to let us in. I understand that there may be rules in place, but given the circumstances, I had hoped for a bit more understanding and empathy. It is disappointing to see a lack of consideration for customers, especially when it comes to the basic needs of a child. Although I have enjoyed their products before, this incident has made me question if I want to continue supporting a business that seems to prioritize policies over customer well-being.
