"After another 15 minutes, she finally took our drink and dinner orders, which felt a bit off—drinks usually come first, right? I ordered a $75 bottle of Prisoner wine, but it took 25 minutes for it to arrive, along with some more awkward jokes from our waitress. When she asked if we wanted bread, we eagerly said yes, but after 40 minutes, we still had neither bread nor dinner.
Eventually, the bread arrived after another 25 minutes, but our meals were still nowhere in sight. At this point, we had been waiting for over an hour! Finally, our dinners showed up 25 minutes later. We had our meals, but then we sat there for ages without any further attention from our waitress. After 45 minutes of her absence, I had to call over another waiter to see if we could get some service. We ended up ordering dessert through him because our original waitress was MIA.
Just as dessert was on its way, our nervous waitress reappeared and asked if we wanted dessert. I had to inform her that we had already placed an order. Another 30 minutes passed without any dessert. Frustrated, I approached the manager, who clearly recognized there was a problem with the service. When our dessert finally arrived, I asked for the bill, half convinced they might serve breakfast at that point!
To their credit, the manager was very gracious and took the wine off our bill, which was a nice gesture. This was our third visit to the restaurant, but it was the first time we encountered such poor service. The food is usually good, so I would suggest giving it a try, but let’s hope they can improve the service."
