"This Persian bakery in Kirkland is a true gem. Upon entering, you’re greeted by the sight of a large oven at the heart of the shop, which fills the air with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread. Long, flat loaves hang to dry, resembling clothes on a line. I sampled the Sangak, a thin, chewy flatbread with a hint of sesame, and the Sheermal, a thicker, sweet bread, along with a delightful box of assorted cookies.
The customer service was exceptionally warm and welcoming, with the gentleman at the counter being both friendly and knowledgeable, ready to answer any questions I had. I noticed a buzz among the Iranian patrons about boxes of sour cherries, and after a pleasant conversation, I was offered a sample to try. Despite seeing some negative reviews regarding customer service, I’m really glad I decided to visit and will certainly return. Coming from Madras, India, I love exploring different ethnic cuisines and flavors."
