"Breakfast at DD's was a fantastic experience. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they offered rye bread for toast, which is quite rare these days. Even more notably, they inquired about our preferences for the gravy accompanying the biscuits—cream or sausage? The breakfast buffet was excellent, featuring biscuits that were buttery on top and flaky yet wonderfully warm and dense inside. The eggs were perfectly cooked—not broken or rubbery, and the whites were just right, not overdone. The service was impressive; it was quick and attentive, with multiple visits to refill our coffee, and they promptly returned with the check when it was time to pay. I look forward to returning to try their lunch or dinner menu!"
