"I’ve noticed that her husband seems a bit forgetful too. I had a little incident where I paid $18.75 for my food and drinks with a $20 bill, and she didn’t give me my second drink. When I pointed it out, she tried to charge me again, even though I had already paid for all of it. I did the math and asked her to explain, and it became a bit of an argument. Other customers were listening and agreed that it didn’t make sense since I never received the drink in the first place. It’s frustrating because I don’t appreciate being treated like I can’t count. I’ve decided that this will be my last visit. Once you argue with places like this, they tend to remember your face, and I can’t trust them with my food safety after that. If you do go, make sure to double-check your change because she might try to shortchange you if she thinks she can get away with it. I usually avoid spending more than $5 there, but I didn’t feel like cooking that night!"

"We were three adults with two (well dressed and well behaved) children at 5 p.m. on a Sunday. The restaurant was half empty and the rude hostess pushed us to a high bar table between a gas station and the kitchen door. According to someone other than the hostess, they were taken to a normal table. The staff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. The service took forever, the orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it had been hit with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were amazing."

"For our second visit, the host and staff cordially seated us in the dining room, attended to us promptly and afforded us a personal visit from the friendly owner. We had read that alcoholic beverages are now being served, a wonderful and anticipated change from our first visit. Bottled water with a basket of pita and chopped marinated red pepper were offered as a complimentary starter while we reviewed the options for our meals. The menu is extensive and the portions are ample. For an appetizer, my wife I enjoyed authentic falafel with humus and arugula accompanied with a sour cream topping. Unlike what we’ve eaten in other restaurants that serve this delicacy, our appetizer was savory, nicely presented and tasted better than any we’ve had in the Capital District. For our main dishes, my wife, a vegetarian, had the eggplant salad platter with baby baked potatoes, cherry tomatoes, ample cheese topping and a sizable green salad. My dinner meal was the branzino filets, delicately and artfully arranged mashed potatoes and a green salad. Both meals were served on large plates and very hot. Neither plate had any leftovers! Completing our meal were a serving of pistachio baklava and a pot of decaffeinated rooibos tea. The ambiance and excellent service by Sean made for an extremely favorable impression on us during this follow up visit. Needless to say, we highly recommend this restaurant, and we’ll be back!"

"I had heard about Zorba's Taverna from a good friend , hadn't tried it till 3 weeks ago, I was disappointed they didn't have music on Friday night, server said it was for reasons of covid not too many people gather , I can definitely understand that. Waiter was super friendly and hospitable, food was amazing , I had the artichoke appetizer , yummmmm and my date the beef kabobs which he ate the last morsel . Great food, great hospitality ..... thank you Zorba's , I'll be back soon.?"

"First of all, GET THE PRETZEL. This place had great beer and LARGE portions of shareable plates. The pretzel and nachos were fantastic in flavor and had enough substance to share among the 6 of us. Every single dish that came out looked amazing. Theburgers were presented on a platform, very juicy and FULL of flavor. Highly recommend giving this place a try!"

"I came to SF for an interview which didn’t finish until very late and so I decided to grab a bite to eat here from the reviews and because I was in the mood for Italian food. I asked the waiter for a margarita pizza and the pesto ravioli with lemon cream sauce, and the waiter said “it would be too much food for one person”. That slightly put me off because I was planning on taking left overs anyway back to my hotel and maybe even having pizza for breakfast the next day but I wanted to try something new so I decided to just order the pesto ricotta ravioli with lemon cream sauce, which was superb! Perfect combination of the sauces and the ingredients! I left there happy and full."

"We had a retirement party for my husband and could not have been more pleased with our experience at Monterey Lanes! The staff made every effort to accommodate our wishes and the service was excellent from booking the event, to serving us food, to keeping the area picked up, etc. I was happily pleased with the clean restrooms on each side of the venue, conveniently placed trash cans, room for personal items, full bar, cleanliness, and quality of the food. "Dominican Food Heaven. My cousin married into a Dominican family and she introduced me to Dominican food. Wow, it was amazing. Several years ago I was in Washington Heights and I asked around for the best Dominican restaurant and everyone I asked said that El Malecon was the best and they were right. The Mofongo was perfection on a plate. The rotisserie chicken was very tender and tasty. If there is a perfect way to make rice and beans, they have figured it out at El Malecon. I think the Sangria really topped off the meal. My dining partner and I agree that this was a wonderful experience.Oh, and just a couple of short blocks from the train."

"The service was slow, and the tables were crammed together, making it feel like I was dining at the same table as strangers. The tables themselves were tiny, so I had to constantly rearrange my plates to fit everything. I was really disappointed with their Dine LA three-course meal. The portion sizes were small—about a third of what you'd expect—yet they still charged the full price, which made the $65 price tag feel totally unjustified. While the mezes we tried were delicious, the entrees were quite ordinary and could easily be found at any Mediterranean restaurant. You can really tell that the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. I appreciated how generous they were with the seafood, meats, and vegetables in both the House Lo Mein and House Fried Rice—I enjoyed them immensely! The Crab Rangoon is arguably the best I've had in Tampa; it's fresh, crispy, and so flavorful! This place is definitely my go-to for authentic Chinese takeout in Tampa."

"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and was seated promptly. Since Burmese restaurant are rear in the area, we were really looking forward to this experience. While we weren't in a hurry, the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they pushed to have a food order at the same time. We choose to wait to order the food until the drinks were brought to us. We ordered the Burmese style beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (Fish Noodle Soup). While the sauces of the meat stews were nice, it wasn't spectacular! The stew meats were definitely not tender. If you enjoy tough meat, then these dishes are for you. Additionally, the Moh Hin Ga was lacking in flavor and in my colleagues words: "would not order it again". Also, soft drinks and iced tea and refilled complimentary. Given the rush and the below average experience, will not be going back. Given there their great Yelp ratings, there seems to be a lot of patrons that like it. Maybe we just attended them on a bad day or the normal Chef was not present that day..."

"The Food was fresh light airy not salty very well prepared. The driver and delivery person was friendly personable he provided Excellent customer service. I really enjoyed my first time ordering from this restaurant. I look forward to ordering from them again we ordered a number of items soup. The Wonton soup was delicious. it was not salty. The scallion pancakes were not greasy, They were flaky and wonderful please know that if you order the shrimp and broccoli combination you will receive jumbo shrimp so you're only going get about five or six but they are massive meaty and delicious enjoy. Oh! Delivery was timely."

"I’m a big fan of Chinese food, having grown up with it. King Wah is pretty average—nothing extraordinary. That might sound a bit harsh, but it’s honest. I’m not being negative; it’s more like fast food for those days when you don’t feel like cooking at home. I’ve never had a bad experience here, but the food isn’t outstanding enough to earn five stars. They do offer dine-in again now that post-Covid restrictions have eased. I really like the location, mostly because of personal connections."
