"I visited this restaurant for brunch after it recently transformed into a new establishment a few months ago. It's a charming, upscale venue that feels welcoming rather than pretentious, complete with a great atmosphere and friendly service. Orkhan, the manager, attentively oversees everything to ensure that every diner has a fantastic experience. The food is fresh and flavorful, with generous portions that are beautifully presented. We enjoyed the mushroom omelet, which was exceptional, as well as the steak with French fries. For dessert, the sorbet was of very high quality and incredibly tasty. They also serve excellent cocktails. Overall, it's a delightful spot for a great meal, a date, or any special occasion."

"I hadn't been to Megu for authentic Szechuan cuisine since the pandemic started, so I decided to drop by while I was in the area shopping. The restaurant had plenty of space for a weekday lunch, and they also offer a lovely outdoor dining patio. The music was at a comfortable volume, allowing for easy conversation without having to raise my voice. I began my meal with a Green Salad, which consisted of simple iceberg lettuce topped with a ginger dressing. However, the only downside to the salad was that the ginger dressing was excessively strong."

"The short by the glass wine list is good, but if you would like advice-recommendations are available for the dishes you have chosen. Grilled pork tenderloin is tender, and nicely served with squash and mushrooms. The grilled trout with roe was perfectly done-couldn 't recommend it more. The steamed edamame appetizer is good. The mussels escabeche are yummy, served in a patty of corn and sweet peppers with grilled bread in the side."

"I don't even have words to describe how wonderful it was to work with Beatnik. We had our post-elopement dinner here, and worked with Cassandra and her team. From the start, Cassandra was fantastic- responsive, helpful, and enthusiastic. She was able to assist us with menu selections and was incredibly accommodating in providing options for our guests with allergies.The night of the event, she was onsite to greet us and truly went above and beyond to be hospitable. She made sure we were happy and taken care of and even insisted on taking my bag and checking it for me.Our server Miguel was absolutely wonderful and made sure everyone was happy and had a drink in their hand all night. He was incredibly thorough and took amazing care of us, especially in regards to making sure our guests with allergies were not treated like an afterthought. The manager onsite, Joanna, also made a point to come over to say hello and check in on us, and made herself available for anything we may have needed.The food was AMAZING. I can't even pick a favorite because everything was so fantastic. All of our guests made comments about food and beverage quality- the margaritas were a HUGE hit. The portions were also plentiful and no one left hungry. And of course, the inside of the space is absolutely gorgeous.I can't thank Cassandra, Miguel, Joanna, and the rest of the Beatnik team enough- they truly made our day so special."

"I ordered the pork soup dumplings, pan-fried dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, stir-fried rice noodles with beef, and the house special boiled fish fillet. The pork soup dumplings were filled with a lot of broth, but both the dumplings and the soup were overly salty. The pan-fried dumplings arrived sitting in a pool of oil, which was unappealing. The sauce of the Dan Dan noodles was also too salty, though the texture of the noodles was good. The stir-fried rice noodles lacked flavor and contained only a few slices of beef. On a positive note, the house special boiled fish fillet had the right level of spice, and the fish was tender. It was served with black fungus and bean sprouts as well. Overall, this dish was decent; however, the rice that accompanied it tasted stale. In summary, the overall quality of the food did not meet my expectations, and I do not plan on returning."

"We arrived at the restaurant around 8:35pm and found that there were only five tables with customers. When we tried to sit down, we were told that they could only serve us takeout because our homes were too far away and serving us hot food would be difficult. After being denied service for about ten minutes by three different restaurant staff members and receiving a mixed message from the others, we decided to leave and ended up getting better service and food at KFC. It has been three years since I dined at this restaurant due to COVID, and my last experience there with soggy, sticky noodles left a bad impression. I had hoped for improvement, but unfortunately, my recent visit was a huge mistake. The treatment we received was incredibly poor, and the food was subpar. It has been five years since I had a decent meal at this restaurant, which is disappointing. I will not be returning in the future, as the stress and disappointment from my last visit are not worth it. I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars, but unfortunately, that is not an option."

"I ordered preserved pork and thousand-year egg congee, shrimp dumplings, and pork belly rice. Everything was exceptional. The shrimp dumplings contained significantly more shrimp than what you typically find, the pork was incredibly tender, and the congee had a perfect flavor, although it seemed to have more egg than pork. I will definitely be ordering from here again. It was a truly satisfying meal of the highest quality. DoorDash has also become my go-to for restaurant delivery—what a convenience!"

"We have never been disappointed here. We usually go with a small group (6 . This time we had 4 adults and 2 grandkids (4&9 . The service was very efficient, friendly and swift. The food was so good and varied. I had Shrimp Ravioli Alfredo with the salad bar (6.00 extra but well worth it. Very Wisconsin Supper Club, did I say Herring? Oh! And hot bacon dressing! My son and DIL had the regular Friday Fish Fry. They were very impressed. My husband had the perch with clam chowder. He said the chowder was the best he's ever had. The Grands had Macaroni and cheese; and pizza. Our Grand-daughter said it was the best ever, even better than hot lunch! Our Grand-son had a 14 inch pizza. His eyeballs just about popped out of his head when he saw it. He was very proud to say he ate 1/4 th of it. (He is, after all in 4th grade! Oh, and two giant Root Beers in the old A&W mug that we all remember fondly! Of course, the Brandy Old Fashioned was EPIC! Served in a huge goblet! The martini straight up was fun. It was poured straight from the shaker table-side. Very cool! The after dinner Espresso Martini's were also served the same way and included 3 coffee beans to float. Very elegant. Our Grand-son and Grand-daughter were treated just like they should be. They loved that. The decor is always very classy but for October they are over the top Halloween! Emphasis on Dia de Muerte in a classy way! Easy to get to, ample parking...you should check it out!"

"This place is absolutely delicious. It opened earlier this year and has been absolutely consistent every single time I have dined in or taken out. The quality of the seafood and really, all the food, is outstanding. Everything is very fresh and made to order. During the weeknights that they are open there is a live singer which just adds to the already beautiful and welcoming ambiance. On the weekend nights (Fri, Sat) there's more of an upbeat vibe which definetly makes this the all in one destination.
