"This restaurant on the street level of the Del Mar Plaza offers a special vegetarian and vegan menu, so be sure to ask for it, since it makes very clear what is or can be made vegan. A vegan version of hot and sour soup is hard to find, so it's a treat to see it on the menu here. There are rice noodles as well as konnyaku noodles; and in addition to tofu, a plant-based chicken is available for many dishes. The spicy eggplant dish is excellent, and baby bok choy is available as a standalone dish and in several mixed dishes. This is a modern take on Chinese food, with an emphasis on fresh, quality ingreients. The wine list is excellent."

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"Granted I've only been once in the last five years after going weekly for over a year. Went for a late lunch today and was highly highly disappointed. Server brought us menus, came back a little while later to bring the coffee I requested, came back a little while later to take our order then bring our food. Not one person came back to bring more coffee, to ask if we needed anything. Nothing and no one. It wasn;t that they were busy either, half the section we were in was empty. The food was good, not as good as it used to be. But the service was horrible. I've scratched this diner off my list. I will not be going back again."

"New favorite brunch spot. Eggs Benedict was well done. The Hash Browns have small pieces of bacon. Children's brunch was good. I will not interfere with other brunchspots in RVC after coming. We'll be back."

"Decor and staff were excellent. Weakest aspect of the dinner was the food. Rolls and butter (complimentary) were delicious. The French onion soup had no broth/liquid. It was just chunks of cooked onions surrounded by croutons. Could have eaten the soup with a fork. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly although very red in the center. Flavor was good. The baked potato was fully cooked but not hot. Everything served to me seemed to be a re heated left over. Nothing freshly made or hot."

"This restaurant is so pretty inside and you also have an option of the outdoor patio seating. The food was awesome and worth the price. Delicious Sangria! Definitely coming back!"

"This was a recommended restaurant by Lakeland locals, so we decided to try it out. The interior gave an ambiance of a candlelit dinner and the menu was very appealing to all palettes. We ordered the Jambalaya, Blackened Shrimp and Grouper w/ French Fires and Coleslaw, Chicken Jolie Blonde w/ Smashed Potatoes, She Crab Soup, Cresent City Cobb, Crispy Calamari, and the Chocolate Ganache Cake. Portion sizes we well worth the price and enough to share among two people per plate. The food was well seasoned and very flavorful; we had a great experience and would definitely recommend that you visit when in the Lakeland area! Jambalaya: The Jambalaya was very flavorful with the right balance of salty, spicy, and rich! The portion was more than plentiful and almost takes you back to New Orleans. Blackened Shrimp and Grouper w/ French Fries and Coleslaw: This dish is absolutely delicious and a seafood-lover's dream (although we did expect there to be more shrimp for the price). Chicken Jolie Blonde w/ Smashed Potatos: The chicken was perfectly cooked and not dry as restaurants generally make it! The sauce was rich and added a perfect balance to the dish! She Crab Soup: Perfect mixture of sweet and spicy! There was plenty of crab chunks in the soup and the seafood flavors were punchy and fresh; definitely a recommended place to enjoy this Charleston staple! Cresent Cobb Salad: The salad came in a huge portion that we shared among all four members in our party. The vegetables tasted fresh and each element was perfectly made for a delicious salad! Crispy Calamari: The flavor was good and the calamari was crispy; the sauce that came with was delicious as well! Chocolate Ganache Cake: The cake was most, but a little too sweet and not as rich as expected. The vanilla sauce that came with it was to die for, though!"

"I used to come here years ago, then my boyfriend and I came in last night, the server was good, however, didn't give me a straw or napkins, the table wasn't that clean. Very few options on breakfast, no specials. And, the prices were ridiculous. I don't remember it being like this. Then, I used the restroom, oh my! There were no toilet seat covers, the toilet on and around were filthy. I had to line toilet. And, it smelt very old and musty. That made my stomach a little queezie. We are not going back. And. The decor was very cheesey. Fake flowers were very old. Sorry. But. We need reviews. It could use a make over. Ty"

"Ordered a 10 piece spicy sweet chili (medium heat) traditional wing with 2x blue cheese and celery 1.75 each (I was told only blue cheese comes with) so Xtra 2. Arrived and looked at order, 9 pieces of celery and two little cups of blue cheese dressing that had been dumped into the somewhat hot food, I noticed that the cheapest part of the meal (celery and blue cheese was skimpy to be generous) was lacking and asked counter person if this was what I ordered and after a few wellll ohhhh ummms yes that is the normal. The wings themselves were not horrible, the drumettes were somewhat overcooked but bearable, the pegs however where undercooked and fatty to the point that the only way to salvage the meal was to separate the meat from the skin and fat. My dog buck didn't get the skin ! I wouldn't do that to him although I'm sure he would have found it ok. On to the sweet chili medium sauce, heat was on point but way to much, everything thing drowned and saturated. Overall I have to say it's a no go, save your money and drive a bit farther."

"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food."

"Wow. Talk about a solid amazing old school burger place! There is nothing quite like this place in my experience, some similar places but this is a really special local joint. We each had a special, cheeseburger fries and a shake. Then also some onion rings. And a polish dog for later! Sauces we got were ranch and bbq. We stood in line for a while, I was like dang! There were people in a long line for like at least an hour while we were there, now I know why. The food is old school burger style and outstanding in terms of flavor and quality! Buns were fresh and soft, the beef tasted fresh, the sauce on the burger was delicious, and the veggies tasted fresh. The fries and onion rings were perfectly cooked, and the onion rings were kinda like Burger King but much better. The polish dog was fantastic! Lovely spices. The shakes, my goodness. I have tasted homemade super quality stuff, and this is it! Their homemade soft serve is top notch!!! The dining room could use a little work, there was a fly buzzing around even though it was relatively clean, that was the only negative part of my experience here."

"what a great little spot. they have been here for some time and have really chosen in their menu items. great specials, always worth checking. the personal is friendly and competent. this place is either a ghost town or in the well packed. the best fresh salads, seriously. Not the typical sad pizza place salad, which are fresh and green and they are not vaccinated on the good things! I wish the tweeper rings would be more consistent, and that they would actually use whole cut mushrooms for the pizza, not the spit of mushrooms and pieces. Besides, everything is great and I would recommend a visit if they are in the opposite hungry."

"Very high quality food prepared and packaged perfectly. The hummus spread had warm pita bread with a nice variety of dips. The chicken souvlaki wrap was huge with good portions of meat. We always get extra of their dil dipping sauce!"

"--- **Restaurant Review** **Meal Type:** Dinner **Price Range per Person:** $30–50 **Food:** 5/5 The food was exceptional, offering a delightful and memorable dining experience. **Service:** 5/5 The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout our meal. **Atmosphere:** 3/5 While the atmosphere was decent, it lacked the special touch that elevates the overall dining experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for its fantastic food and excellent service, despite the average ambiance."
