"The quality of the food at this restaurant can vary quite a bit, depending on the chef. The brisket can either be incredibly tender and delicious or tough and unappetizing. I do recommend the jalapeño poppers and the pulled pork with tater tots—they're always good. The bar area is great for those who want to enjoy some anonymity or engage in conversation with friends or even new people. Everyone is very friendly, and people of all ages come in, so you’ll feel welcome whether you want to chat or just sit quietly with your headphones on and take in the atmosphere. One downside is that the bartenders sometimes don’t realize that they don’t need to speak loudly over the music. It’s a smoke-friendly place, which is a plus for those who smoke. Overall, the vibe is genuine and laid-back—there’s none of that pretentious attitude you find at some places."

"Great bartenders on 7-22-22. They were busy but handled it well. When DJ started, it got even busier. They hold your CC for a tab. Pretty quick to offer another beer which is nice. We were all having fun, then here comes Belding Police. Talk about a buzz kill. Police shouldn't need to enter the establishment to take a report. They can do that in the parking lot. They were speaking to patrons, they don't need to see who's in the bar drinking.Also a what I can guess is a security guard was over bearing and too talkative to the bar tenders.The patrons were great and welcoming.Rating of 4 because Police were inside. Also they pulled 2 cars over infront of the saloon too! Bartender said it was happening more often. I felt like they are trying to run your patrons away."

"This is undoubtedly the BEST BBQ you will find. Two years ago, when I was undergoing chemotherapy, it was the only thing that ever sounded good to me. I went there twice a week just for the ribs. At one point, my doctor even threatened me with a feeding tube because I had lost so much weight. I truly believe that if it weren't for this amazing place, I would have ended up needing one. Fantastic food, excellent service, and an amazing staff!!!"
