"We decided that someone else was preparing the meal this year and ordered a number of participants from the Honey Baked Ham outlet here in Sarasota. We ordered and paid online so that when we arrived at our time, we were able to skip the long line, pick up our food and were back on the street within five minutes. Her smoked turkey, gravure, crushed potatoes, cheese broccoli, baked beans and carrot cake for a magnificent Christmas festival, which was enjoyed by all and there was no full-fledged kitchen scale to clean up. Their prices are very reasonable, especially given the high quality of each dish they make, and it removes the stress of preparing a great Christmas meal. It will definitely become our new holiday tradition."

"I was among many who prepaid in advance, only to wait an eternity and find out they had sold my order. I didn't receive anything I had ordered—instead, I was given a different ham as compensation for the mix-up. I've been coming to this restaurant for years, but the last two have been terrible. It used to be well-managed, and I never had to wait long for my order, even during the busy season. The new manager, who replaced the tall man who used to be there, is incredibly poor at her job and doesn't know how to treat customers or staff. Sharon should have been let go long ago before she damages this place even further."

"We ordered from DoorDash and placed our order at 10 AM for delivery by 11 AM, and it arrived right on time! The Cobb Salad is, without a doubt, the best in town. The greens were incredibly fresh, crisp, and cold, topped with delicious ingredients. The pickled red onions were a delightful surprise. The ham was fantastic, the cheddar cheese was of high quality, and the hard-boiled egg, tomatoes, bacon bits, and crunchy croutons all satisfied my cravings perfectly. Wow, it was so good! The Smoked Turkey Classic Sandwich was also delicious—fresh and flavorful. Lastly, the Broccoli Bacon Bliss (Single Serving) was outstanding. "update: I have published a complaint on the company website. the next day the manager came to me this place and apologized for what happened. she told me I'd get a free drink when I was ready. I had to reach them directly and leave their names and their number. I was a long time customer of honey baked ham so I was very appreciated that they follow. I have bought honey baked ham for the last years every holiday season. every year I know that I make a reservation for my 3-5lb boneless ham because they don't get it otherwise. this year I have made my reservation 2 weeks ago thanksgiving week to make sure that I could get a reservation. I received my confirmation email along with my pick-up date and time. When I arrived at the storage place to pick it up, I was told by the workers in the shop that they did not have mine sinking and my reservation guaranteed no sinking. These are novelties for me and the first time that it hasn't worked for years. I don't trust this place for my holiday ham in the future."

"*Thanksgiving dinner reserved in advance so line at pickup not a big deal right? Wrong. No information that there was a separate reserved dinner line. When got to the counter, they had run out of a couple things. So much for reserved *One person at counter was nice but helpless, the other was rude, dismissive, and flat out mean. So much for Happy before Thanksgiving in this place. *The ham was warmed according to direction. (Room temperature is suggested according to The package. . It was tasty, but really dry, maybe because it 's sliced so thin. The 4 sides were frozen and about 1lb each. They were very much like what I 'd expect from Swanson in the frozen food aisle. In fact that might be the way to go for your holiday meal; at least you wo have to deal with the customer service issues."

"I don't intend to return to this restaurant. I paid $90 for a ham, and even though I wore a mask as they requested, they still refused to give me my order and blamed me for the situation. I've never experienced having my food withheld because of a mask issue before. I ended up in a heated argument with the manager, who was very confrontational, over the ham I had already paid for. The service was truly awful."
